Hey, does anyone know of a really good Harry Potter fanfic series? I'm looking for something good to read, but I don't want just one story. I'm looking for a series, a finished one if it can be found. Would rather have a trilogy, but if you only know of ones with only two parts that is ok too. And no one-shots, multichapter ones is what I'm looking for.
Oh, and I'm also trying to find one with drama. No drabble stuff or one-shot things, I would like something that actually has a main plot.
Sorry if it sounds like I'm being picky or something, but I'm having trouble finding this type of story. I've read really great series in other categories, but none really on HP. Most of the ones I've read on HP have started a sequel, but haven't finished. Or only have two parts. The only ones that I have read that have more than one part is the RtBs, but that isn't what I'm looking for.

Have you read the Midnight Series by ksomm814? I just recently finished it and I found it to be really good. There is a lot of Harry and Remus and Sirius bonding throughout the series. It starts off in Year 3 and goes through Year 7 and each Year gets a separate story. There was definitely drama in it, but very little romance. For series off ff.net, I love Stealing Harry: archive.skyehawke.com/story.php?no=2288It features an 8 year old Harry and a Sirius/Remus pairing in later chapters. It's not the most believable premise as AUs go, but the writing is excellent and I love the characterizations. The author also has two and a half sequels with Harry at Hogwarts. Personally, I prefer the first story, which can certainly stand on its own. |

I have a Reading the Book series at Fanfiction. net. My name there is The Venquine and the serie starts with Reading For Life. It's a HP-Yu-Gi-Oh crossover with SiriusxRemus Bonding, HarryxGeorgexFredxMokuba bonding and Harry being Sirius and Remus' son by birth.
It continues with Reading the Myth, Reading With Family - where Harry finds out he really is Sirius' child - and Reading With Strength, which is - unfortunately - where I stopped. I'm currently - and with that I mean every now and then - working on rewriting the chapters to put more lines between the reading parts and to put the reading parts in Bold-Italics, instead of just Italics.

Venquine - I will look into it, but I'm not sure about them since I've never watched Yu-Gi-Oh and don't know the characters or the storyline. I like anime, but only certain series (teen titans, code lyoko, Digimon Frontiers and beyblade). I'm going to have a lot of reading to do now! Thanks everyone! Just wondering if anyone has seen some that are about Hermione? Do some of these series have her as well or is most Harry? (I'll still read them if it is only Harry, but Hermione is my favorite female character and would like to see some of her.) No, Draco/Hermione please, unless it is really really really really really well written  . |
