I don’t normally do this, especially on here, but I’m looking for a specific Harry Potter fanfiction. It was originally on the Harry Potter dialogue boards, and was posted years ago. I've cross-posted this to Livejournal, so if you see it there also, I apologize.
The story:
+ Was in a series of three ‘novels
+ Was Harry/Hermione pairing
+ Was very heavy on the Harry+Sirius bonding
+ Took place throughout years 3-5, I think.
+ Involved travelling to Egypt and other places
+ Involved learning about Runes
+ Had high involvements of Charlie Weasley and all other Weasley’s
+ Was found on ff.net a year or so ago
If anyone can get me a link, that would be awesome!

I am sorry, but save some small ones in the Story Board there are no more stories here. Someone reported the RtB stories to the site admins, and we were forced to either delete the stories ourselves or lose the whole board.

HELP!!!
I remember reading a really quite good story set after the fourth book, where Harry finds out that Hedwig & Crookshanks are actually humans trapped in animal form, & Hedwig leads him to Potter Manor, where he discovers the spell to allow her to return to human form.
I had thought I'd grabbed a copy of the story, but I can't find it now & I can't remember either the title or the exact wording of the summary. I hope someone can help me find it again.

Sorry, I don't think I have ever seen that story, never mind read it. Did you try to search for Hedwig in the summary? Or with her as a character?

I finally found it, at about five this morning, after several hours of searching.
It was The Unforgettable Summer by RedHal.
And yes, Hedwig was in the summary. I wish I'd tried using her at the beginning, it would have been so much easier.

Good for you! It is always so annoying when you can't find a story again. Oh well, next time you will probably try it. With Hedwig, it at least works - if it was just Harry, that way of search would be useless  |

looking for a story where both harry and hermione are twins who were stollen from their real family
they have an older brother marcus flint there is a bit where they see a quidicth game and hermione takes a book with her to read
