I haven't seen this done sooooooooo.....
Challenge: Umbridge reads Characters: Umbridge, Hogwarts students, Ministery Officials.....anyone you want, but Umbridge has to be in it. Idea: Umbridge gets the books and starts a reading. The point, change Umbridge's mind on Harry and Voldemort.
Like I said, I haven't seen a story where the books change Umbridge.....so I hope someone takes this! If you want any more info, message me!

I've always wanted one of these too! She's always stuck in the same mindset in every single one.

It would be nice to see her better herself.

So far I know only one story where Umbitch was in truth good, so that would be interesting, yes.

I don't know, but my story might turn out like this. It's just Umbridge with some Ministry workers and I'm starting at book four. I don't really know how some of the characters will end up, so she could end up believing.

That would be a new one - seeing the lengths she went to to keep the school under control and what she did in DH, I have never seen her as really redeemable. To show believable that she changed her mind is probably not easy to write. Though, on second thought, when she finds out that Voldemort is the son of a near-squib and a muggle ... that might give her some food for thought.

I don't think Umbridge chooses what's right and wrong, she chooses the side in power. So if she feels that Harry's story has more power for her in it, she'll choose it. So her switching sides would always be more about power than actual right or wrong IMO.

Hm ... you could be right. Though in the books she was really coming over as extremely prejudiced, so I find it hard to see her changing her tune with the change in power without slipping. The best way to change her for good would be a fatal accident anyway
