You could have a friend of Petunia's like that Marjorie or something or Yolanda mentioned in the first book as well and make them nasty pieces of work like Petunia and Vernon who'd try and defend them. It would get tiring to just read the neighbors bashing the Dursleys. They could completely hate the idea of magic and at every opportunity try and bash Harry to add a bit of conspiracy and to grate the nerves of everyone a little. They can also mess with Petunia's mind, so that each minute she tries to take a step forward, the pull her back. It'll give the story a different angle to explore and keep the story from turning into too much of a bash.

I think her name was Yvonne. That's a good idea, actually. Keeping Petunia from growing any positive emotions and thoughts towards him.

I would love to take up your challenge also if any of you don't mind. I don't promise anything great though. Also do you mind if make changes to Jk Rowlings work. Mine would have a female Harry/ Bill Weasley pairing.

This would be my summary if I do it.

Important Information
Set before fourth year. All the books will be read, but OotP- DH will have the most changes. The adults will get on to Hermione the most of the golden trio. (Most never get onto her for her faults) Some of Hermione's bad faults will show themselves in the books just as much as Ron's did. Dumbledore sees Harry(Tear) as only a weapon to be used than disposed of. Molly will not be bashed, but Tear will reprimand her at certain times.
