Hey Kuma, this still open? I'd love to take a crack at writing one like this.
*looks at list of challenges but shrugs* I've got nothing to do till August 18th. I NEED stuff to help me pass the blooming time. Though, I will be in la-la land on July 26th.

Oral Surgery. Getting my wisdom teeth removed and my oral surgeon prescribed a narcotic for the pain. Or, according to my mom, a one way ticket to la-la land.

Yeah, but I can't eat chewy foods that first day--and most non-chewy foods have lactose in them meaning either way you spin it, I'll be uncomfortable.
I've got some ideas that are spinning in my head. Give me a minute before I tell you. Got to get them solid before I put them down on paper otherwise they're gone in a flash.

The Dursleys, plus Marge (obviously) Yvonne Jamison (Petunia's friend--last name is something I came up with) Mrs. Next Door (Mary George) and her daughter Kristin Linda Evans, Mark Evans Sr and his little brother Sean Mrs. Figg The neighbor Vernon talks to in the beginning of OotP--Abigail Aguilar, moved there from Spain in 1980 with her husband and utterly detests the Dursleys. Harry is off at his sixth year, and the Evans kid (Mark) is at his first year--head cannon is that that boy's a wizard and that's why Dudley's gang beat him up in OotP. The group reads 4-7, as that's what's relevant at the moment. |

*Snicker* You might be more reliable than Google, it's true. Right now, I'm just looking for information on cultures around the world, and how I can alter them to make them part of the wizarding world. I don't think every culture would be behind the times, myself. I picture America and Japan being blends of past and present, simply because they are rather inventive cultures.

You might want to make the American one more based towards past instead of present, based on how the muggle world is. The Japanese one is okay though.
