We all know that Molly goes overboard is some of the RTB's so my challenge is to either write an RTB within an RTB or to try and work with another author to see if you can use there story. Point out Molly's flaws in canon & fanon version and come up with a solution on what to do. Or if you feel like using a character then you can.
Would this work at all?

I was just about to say something about canon characters reading a reading in the "fanon reads canon" thread. Great minds, huh?

Well, I think this could work, but this kind of story would irritate me to no end to write... reading it would be good to read, though.

if it was written really well in terms or grammar, english language etc. it was just a random thought on whether or not it could be do-able.

yayy.. i just thought that the rtb version of molly could be really bad. having a go at everyone for every little thing that they do and then maybe in the fanon rtb the rest could pick her faults..

I agree that Molly is hard to write during a RtB, especially when her children and others are doing extremely stupid things. Also, it probably doesn't help that the Molly who's reading in my story, still has very young children, so she's more inclined to go into the over-protective mode.
It would certainly be interesting to see where a story like this would go though.

How come no one ever does Molly's positive attributes? It's only ever her faults, like she has no good parts to her?

She does have excellent qualities as well, she's loving, a great cook, and excellent at managing a busy household. I think the reason her faults are so obvious is because she's extremely vocal about what people are doing wrong, that they should be more careful, etc. Event though she does have excellent qualities, they often are overshadowed by her faults, which tend to be emphasized by certain people, thus making them worse than they actually are.

Molly being vocal is similar to why people go crackers with Ron and make them both out to be the absolute worst kinds of people. What people always tend to overlook is that Harry normally agrees with Ron, he just doesn't tend to say stuff out loud. Like Ron, Harry can be pretty insensitive but since he doesn't say much, he appears to be more sensitive.
Considering Molly has seven children, she would have to be vocal to control them all, especially as Arthur is a less dominant personality than his wife. When she gets onto Harry and the others, the problem is, she has honestly no idea what they've gone through. If they were completely normal kids, her actions would be completely justified because it normally should be left to adults, not teenagers. It's difficult for a woman who has spent her life caring for others to let extremely young adults go on a dangerous mission where she can't protect or help them.
