I used to hate green, red was my favourite until I noticed that it was close to blood. I did have a bright green/pink bedroom for a while but then The Accident happened and I had to repaint it because it was far to bright.

Bright green and pink? I can't even imagine that. I did have a purple room with a bright pink bed screwed to the wall for a sort of bunk bed (it was necessary as if the bed wasn't on the wall there would be no space to walk in the room, it was tiny).

Truthfully it was bright pink & green. Got the tiniest room myself. Horrible isn't it?

Indeed. It was either that or share a room with my sister who was 5 years younger and still wet the bed. Luckily 3 houses later I got the second biggest room which even had a small en suite (I move a LOT).

I love my room, its gorgeous! Purple on two walls and floral wallpaper on the other, although it did used to be flourescent pink.

Woooow, flourescent pink? Funky. I've just moved into my grandad's old house so the decor is all a bit 'Oldies' if you know what I mean, but we'll be moving again in a year (once my sister finishes school) and my mum hopes to get a brand new house that's just been built so we can decorate it however we like. I can already picture my room.

I've never actually moved house! I'm 16 and have had the same bedroom for my entire life, which means I can keep it exactly how I want it.

we used to swap bedrooms, 2 boys and 2 girls and then 2 moved out and 2 of us still live with parents but we all moved house and i went for the bright rooms because it was MY room.

I have a whole wall in my bedroom that I've been building up for the last year, and its completely covered with pictures and editorials and bits cut from magazines and a couple of canvases  It looks amazing, I'd cry if I had to move room after putting so many hours into it! |

Haha! My friedn has a wall of pictures of her friends and family and another friend has a black wall that she writes on in sparkly gel/felt tip pens and her friends leave her messages on it or stupid random comments.

Aww, thats pretty cool! We have something like that in our living room, where whenever we decorate, before we put new wallpaper up we draw on the walls. There are little drawings we did when we were about two, and we all write memories down, and it just looks amazing. There's even a little height chart that we get measured on whenever we decorate |

We used to do that in the old house. if you were to strick the paper in the living room you'll find my parents names, the day they moved in and so forth..

I was three when I moved for the first and only time, but I have switched bedroom once in our house when my two older sisters moved out. I always had my own room being between two boys, my two brothers shared a room, and so did my two older sisters. Once there were only three of us left in the house, I moved into my sisters' old room, my little brother into my old room, and my older brother kept the same room. A few years ago, I redid my room and almost everything in it is purple, but nothing too bright. It's mainly dark and soft purples.
I do need to figure out the best way to decorate a dorm room, which I'll be moving into in six weeks.
