I'm back in eight hours, got internet connection at the airport, and I'm totally taking advantage. A week is way too long to go without logging in once :S Not that I'm complaining too much, a vacation is so great

I've been a silent reader for a while now; my new job has been keeping me very busy.

And I'm going to be even more absent soon.
Because I've decided to combine a trip to France next week with my annual "internet abstinence" week.

I try to take one week every year to go completely "offline" to take life a bit slower again, and to fend off the onsetting internet addiction.

This means that, starting on Saturday, I won't be reachable by email, or pm, or comments. Or anything else.

But I plan to do some writing during that week, so hopefully I will come back on Monday 22nd with some fresh ideas for my story.

Catching up is bad enough after just one day, especially with threads that people find interesting. I do not want to imagine what it's going to be like after a week.

Here, it's at least getting a bit easier. Remember these days when you made a comment, then logged out, and when you came back a few hours later, the thread was one or two pages longer? Then multiply that with a full week or so ...

And then add all the other places on the net one usually visits!

I know .. But before this even existed I mainly spent time on fanfiction ... Before I went to fanfiction for a little over year ago, I spent it on ...facebook and googling. Was on a couple RPG sites. One I spent several years. It was a danish Harry Potter one ... I must be on the 30th year or something there. After ten weeks there's exam until you're finished with the seventh 'year' xD Nice place. I grew out of it unfortunately.

I used to go on a website called the n literally every day, and I had so many good friends there, but September two years ago they changed it and then it shut down so I ended up on ff.net instead
