Yeah. I think the only reason I'm still in contact with my friend is because we've met each other. I had once a sleepover there. She invited me to her birthday party since I'll be in the country then, but unfortunately I'll have to leave home next day with the plane.. And it's three hours with train. So sad, but yeah .. We had a lot more contact and had great times ... Now we just ask how you are and that kind of talk

Good morning on Sunday morning. I'm back from France (even though I nearly got lost once at Paris Montparnasse). Brittany was really cool. (They've got mountains down there!) But on the whole, I'm also very glad to be back at my own place (and my own degree longitude. There's something to be said for long evenings, but I'm also very fond of early mornings ). Trying to speak French for a whole week was pretty hard, too. Although, one gets used to it. And: Brittany was very warm (at least compared to my place). The French there kept going on about how cold it was - and there I was sweating in my t-shirt. *rofl* I had a great time there. If any of you ever search for a great vacation get away - I can totally recommend Brittany. ;D

Nice ... I've only been once in France... Six-five years ago, I think. Spent four days in Paris .. Although two of them went to Disneyland, which I liked a lot then, although I thought it was a bit boring in comparison to other places, but I enjoyed it. And about ten days in south France in a camping place. Enjoyed to bustle around with my siblings, since it seemed like a mini-town with more fun things to do

Glad you are back safely and enjoyed your holiday! Brittany is another part of France I want to visit one day. I just wish French wasn't that hard If I have learned something over the last few years then it is the fact that temperatures or rather the feeling of cold/warm are very relative. You should hear my Aussie friend complaining about how cold it is in autumn/winter/spring - for her, +15 degrees Celsius are "freezing cold" When I tell her that at these temperatures, we are often still running around in t-shirts outside, she thinks we are nuts. (The fact that we had -25 degrees last winter is something she can't even comprehend!) And of course, when I complain about +25 degrees here because it's so humid, she tells me that's not hot, that's just warm enough and hot is only above 40 degrees. For her, 30-35 are just right ... something I'm seriously doubting. I'd melt in these temperatures. That's something we'll never agree on
