I always go to Cwam's CR community, they had been up to 33 pages now they are down to 29. A lot of other stories I was reading that aren't CR have been deleted to Has there been any further response from FFN recently? Not that I know of. Oh yeah, HavenSpire has reposted the first book of the Juniper Potter series and it has yet to be taken down. I guess ff.net are slowly going back to their old ways of ignoring stories if one of the more popular RtB series was reposted lol.

Yeah, only 946 stories left right now (it's the one I mostly used to keep track of these stories, and Meme Stargate's), before it was just short of 1000. Every time I go there, I am looking worriedly for how bad it has gotten since last time ...
Interestingly enough, there are so many new stories posted that the numbers are still rising again since the beginning of the month.

That is true Kitty. It's like after they delete 100 fics about 200 take their place. The funny thing is that a good chunk of the "new" fics are the ones that were deleted earlier.

Maybe in the end they will get tired of re-deleting them, who knows?

Maybe in the end they will get tired of re-deleting them, who knows? Ah, ff.net will probably start throwing IP bans soon enough. If that does happen the authors can just use their friends computers to post the stories. An IP ban in this day and age is really nothing.

Maybe. But if they do that, I'd rather leave the site altogether. I've already given the ones who I talk to only via PM my email address, just in case I leave FFN. It's just not worth the bother if they want to drive every thinking member away.

It would be good if ffn put their head back in the sand but it would be great if they used their brains instead and changed the rules so we wouldn't have to worry about this happening again. Does anyone else think that there was a change in management at ffn and someone from critics united is now in charge? It would certainly explain why all of a sudden after, what a decade, they care about MA and CR stories being posted on their site.

Everything is possible - I just don't know anything about the whole mess and can only guess (mixed with a healthy dose of sarcasm).

I finally got my computer back from the techie, I haven't had it for nearly a month so today I could go through and back up everything that's left. Of the stories I got 'required reading' by Phoenixscars, randomreader90's 'Into the past' series, Hope In Hells series, the one by Koldrian, 'what to expect when reading the books'; and quite few others, that haven't been updated for a few months or more. They are all in PDF format and so far not many of the older ones seem to be touched, but I can pass them on if anyone wants them. I know you may not even be on here anymore, it's been years. But I was wondering if you may still have the pdf for Required Reading by pheonixscars?
