No problem, it's hard to keep up with everything here, and the title wasn't that specific, either. *offers coffee to wake up*

I hate Burger King. I don't know if it's just bad luck but every time I go there they burn my burger or forget to put sauce on or something. Haven't been there in years. I also don't like the chips. McD's and KFC's chips are so much better.

I was gutted that I couldn't watch the Maximum Movie Mode because I don't have blu-ray, but I always devour all the extras and deleted scenes. There are quite a lot of the original scripts online too, so you can see the bits that didn't even make it to deleted scene. really? Where do you find the original scripts? What is Maximum Mobie Mode? I think there are a couple on imsdb.com, but I haven't really managed to find any Maximum Movie Mode is basically commentry from the actors, and they tell you extra things and explain stuff, i think. I can't see it, unfortunately.

Is FF.net slow for anyone else today?

It's slow for me too. I think it was because of the updates and the bug that happened with some websites.

Actually, even Flagfic has updated their website to tell people that FFN is slow and grabbing the fics from there could take longer than usual, and that they can't do anything about it because the problem is with FFN. Who only tell about the new features, but of course give no warning about being slow.
Btw, is it just me or did they remove the 'home' button to go straight to the homepage itself to look for announcements?

They have, but you can click on the top where it says Fanfiction for the title and that takes you to the homepage.

Is anyone else having problems going to ff.net? I was in the middle of reading a story and after choosing to go to the next chapter and the webpage timed out. I hope it is fixed soon enough because the fic was just getting good.

Seems to be an ongoing problem, got a PM from a friend today morning who complained about problems, too. Stupid FFN.

Maybe the problem comes and goes, who knows. Or it's a certain server so only certain areas are a problem.

Same here. Now and then I go and have a look at the stories on my favourites list to read the updates, but that's about it. Why bother with them more than absolutely necessary. Not sure if I'll stay there after the current stories are finished.

Well, here it's not up to the FFN staff to allow them free rein, so let's hope the best.

Only reason I stay is gives me stuff to read, after all not a whole lot of stories on here yet. So taking my time going through them.

I'm there mainly for the non-RtB stories nowadays. Too many of my favourite RtBs are deleted already or not updating forever. So I am rather playing here.

*nods* Same here pretty much. You know some have the guts to post new ones over there, though they uh kinda suck....They are not that well done and has really no plot.
If I was going to do one I would at least try to make it more then just a couple character comments and the story. And the comments would be more then just a few words long.

Yeah, I really don't like it when it turns out that way. I know my first story is kind of like that, but I'm trying to develop a plot as well, so that's why it often takes me a long time to update as I want more than just talking, there needs to be some type of character development as well.

The ones who have some semblance of plot beyond the reading and where the readers don't just throw in what I'd call the 'standard comment', but have real discussions, maybe add a story about something now and then, these are the ones I really love. The other ones are just too boring. Comments like "X thinks like Y" don't carry a story very far.

I try to avoid random comments as much as I can, so sometimes I'll have a conversation that takes up a few pages. Also, they get quite philosophical at moments. Another favourite thing of mine to do in RtBs is to have people reminisce, especially Remus and Sirius. I've told several rather random Marauder stories that way. I do agree that 'standard comments' get quite boring after awhile. A few every so often are okay, especially if it's something that might be helpful later on, but for the most part, they shouldn't be used.

Exactly. That sort of random short comment now and then is ok, but if they are all that is besides the real book text, it gets boring pretty fast. You did rather well, IMO.

I am more then sure your story is better then some of the ones I have seen being posted. And often if they least have a plot of some kind other then just reading, then I at least keep reading even if wish comments were better as I hope they will improve as they go along. So do in fact improve so....

The "Naruto - Naruto Reads Naruto by Sage of Seals.pdf" link is dead. Does anyone have another, or a copy they could send to hwate8@hotmail.com?
