The Gaunts and Riddles read

Merope (pregnant), along with her father and her brother, and the Riddles, read books 4-7.

Must have:

Merope finally stands up for herself (preferably in book 5)
Tom Riddle Sr. (off love potion) finds out what can happen when you abandon your child.
Mr. and Mrs. Riddle discover the world of magic (well obviously)

Interesting . I think another magical would have to be there though, to prevent any murder. I have my one story with merope in it, but not anyone else.

But you're right. Another POWERFUL magical person would have to be there as Merope would still be weak, magically, due to the inbreeding of her ancestors. How about someone from the Ministry, the guy who came to summon Merope's brother in HBP?

It is interesting idea and I agree it does need a Neutral Party added who is rather strong Magically after all you have Hardcore Blood Purists then you have a family of Muggles which said Purists hate.

The Problem lies in who it would be as you would not want someone who is Light or Dark, so needs to be a Neutral member, someone like say the Greengrass family or the Davis Family. Or depending how the books arrive not to mention how you get the group you could have a Future or Past character there like Harry or Ignotus Peverell.
