Not Reading the Book, but let me explain before you storm out in a huff. How would the wizarding world react to the actions of the muggle one? would they help out their American counterparts during the aftermath of 9/11? Would they send aid and try to help as many Iraqi wizards who were trying to escape the 2003 American invasion? Would they even notice the terrorist attacks of 2004 and 2005, or would that just be brushed under the rug? And let's not forget the world wide economic collapse of 2008. Must feature: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Luna and Neville. No Bashing!

Haha I probably shouldn't ... I have a lot of projects on hand. Plus, I'm not the wisest person politically speaking...
but... I can't resist the fucking puppy eyes... T^T
I'll work on it, but you'll have to be patient. I'm still behind on two challenges.

SQUEE! *hugs Kuma tightly*
Don't worry, patience is...not my strong suit but in two weeks I'll be high on pain meds after getting my wisdom teeth removed so I'll forget all about it, thereby making me patient!
Oh, and if you need any help with the political stuff I've got a notebook from Poly Sci 250 from spring semester of Freshman year of college that can always help. Just PM me.

Yeah, luckily I've only got three wisdom teeth in my mouth (one never came in--thank merlin!). the bad news is that one's sideways so that's probably going to be painful.

Thank Merlin for pain meds though, and Disney movies! I've got a feeling I'll be re-watching the Lion King on VHS for a couple of days while recovering.
I'm also glad my mom's nothing like her mother. My grandmother liked to watch my mother laugh during the time my mom was recovering from her wisdom teeth extraction.

Oh, that sounds unpleasant...

Yeah. We're half convinced my grandmother was either manic or affected by the large amounts of pollution in the soil of my mom's childhood home. A lot of people my mom went to high school with have sever health problems after it was discovered that the soil was extremely polluted from Haliburton's doing. (I hope I spelt that right)

Oh wow, that's horrid! Just horrid! I'd love to take Halburton's head and shove it in that polluted soil!

Trust me, my mom got out lucky by not having any health problems. My uncle has had high blood pressure since his teens, and my other uncle died at 45. About 1/3 of my mom's graduating class has some health problem or another.
I haven't heard, but I think they're still trying to get together a class action suit against Halburton to at least clean up the neighborhood (Depew isn't the wealthiest city in the US. Actually, when my mom was a kid, it was a middle class neighborhood. Now, it looks like the slums of Depew. I know. I've been there.)

Yeah it is. It was a manufacturing town (my grandfather was a union president) and with manufacturing jobs going bye-bye....so did most of the money for Depew. If the Bills could win one superbowl, it might bring jobs back to the area but we're not banking on it. The owner is really old and his kids want to trade the Bills to Canada. That would kill the city though if that happened.

Ah! See, it's about 3:10 in my area and I've been multi-tasking between this and a Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert comic that I found that turns all fake news casters into super-heros and Cheney is an alien bent on world conquest.

I'm ninja! And yeah, Kuma got it. Huzzah for being on a separate time zone from everyone else! Anyway, multi-tasking is fun! I'm doing it myself. Though if you mean AM, you should probably think on getting to sleep soon!

Yeah I meant AM. My stupid brain is wired for when the sky is dark and there are stars in the sky while I'm useless in the day. I'll probably knock out in a few though. I'm going to see a play later this evening and I don't want to sleep through it.
