Okay, I don't know how I got this idea but I did. Grindlewald and Hitler are plotting another way to take over Britain after the fail of the Blitz when come curious books arrive. After realizing that they are from the future, both badies decide that it would be in their best interest to read.
*Hitler obviously knows about magic (No changes on his end--AKA NO REDEMPTION!)
*Books 4-7 (you can include other flashbacks if you so choose).

Could he possibly be redeemed?

Ah! Depends on how you write the story really. Yes he could be redeemed and in fact I think JKR was somewhat doing that in the seventh book when he wouldn't give up the location of the Elder Wand to Voldemort. But, of course, he wouldn't want to portray that in front of his puppet/equal (again, however it pans out is up to who takes this challenge).

I don't think I'd take it. I was just curious about Gellert. Is it sad that I kind of like him more than Dumbledore?

Oh, I meant you like "everyone'. No it's not sad. Whenever JKR gives character depth, I find myself slightly hating the character (with the exception for Ron and Harry).

I just feel that Gellert may have come to regret taking advantage of Albus, and maybe even still had feelings for him all this time.

Hmm....not a bad idea. Me likey! On a completely unrelated note, why do I always get ideas at 9:20 at night?

Hmm...that could be true. Tell me, again on a completely unrelated note, how do you feel about the concept of a Harry Potter/Glee crossover?

I've never seen Glee, so I wouldn't know... but I'd give it a chance if the characters were explained decently enough for me to understand them.
