I was doing my usual rounds of the forst when I felt the presence of another Phoenix, was it Lucinda or another one involved in this War? I immediately followed the link and found to my relief that it WAS Lucinda! "Hello again Lucinda, who is this delightful girl, do you know?

Kei had just finished informing the other unicorns of the trouble that was arising. Predictably, they were not pleased. However, as Kei was pretty much the head of the herd (Her father was actually the leader, but was growing old and unable to properly lead.) They had accepted her decision to join the battle to protect the forest. At the moment, most of the unicorns with foals younger then one were bringing them to a small clearing that was the Unicorns most sacred area- one that no other magical creature dared enter. No unicorn would allow a magical in their sacred temple. Kei had decided to take Xie and Jei and give them a good talking to about the battle- How Xie needed to be more willing to fight, and Jei needed to be less excited about the fight.
After all that had happened though, Kei was using all her senses as she talked to make sure her foals were safe- so naturally she heard Rhea approaching. Turning around quickly, she almost unconciously place herself between the oncoming people and her young.
Rhea's eyes widened at the mention of a Unicorn- she had never seen one herself, though her own wand had a Unicorn hair in it. When she saw the magnificent creature, she looked quite amazed, even though Kei eyed them with uncertainty untill she noticed Lucinda.
"Ah, yes, Lucinda. Do you have any news about the battles to come?"
That's when Rhea saw yet another pheonix, and she felt a bit dazed. How many magical creatures would she meet?

If Lucinda were human, she probably would have probably gone red with embarrassment. "I haven't asked for her name yet, but I flashed a long distance to find her. This poor dear seemed rather troubled by the events that are now taking place."

After a moment of lost of words due to the mass of people appearing, Rhea found her voice. "I'm Rhea."

Yew was a tricky little blighter. Her parents claimed she was the most mischevious child they'd had, but then, Yew was their only child. As she leaped off a branch into the air, she felt the freedom of flight and the air brushing under her, until she landed on a branch. Satisfaction coursed through her nimble body. Yes, she was pleased.
That was until she heard a twig snap, and someone approaching. What new creature dared to come near?
Harrigan's ears caught a sound. It was the soft whisper of voices. He recognized one, the others were unfamiliar. Rodimus had left him long ago, and Harrigan had decided to continue the hunt as he pondered war. Any of the other centaurs would leave the other creatures. However, Harrigan was the unusual one. And so he trotted into a small clearing, seeing two phoenixes, a unicorn, and a girl. Well, what an usual sighting.
"A council without me? I'm hurt Kei my dove, I thought I was getting through to you. Where's the vampire leader who shoots acid at?" asked Harrigan with his amused laugh.

Yew stared in surprise as a human-looking girl entered the area. What was she doing here? Didn't humans belong with their kind? Maybe she was a centaur friend, but she looked to tiny to be one of them. She seemed to be rambling about something, and like Yew, looked more like a child than an adult. Or at least, she did in comparison to the massive centaurs she'd seen. Except, it didn't look like a centaur.
Yew hopped to the lowest branch, just above the girl's head, right in site of the youner girl. Her eyes zoomed in. Was that-
And without a second thought, she hopped directly onto the young creature's shoulders, and plucked a large wood-lice off her hair and popped it into her mouth.

Yew stared at the girl in wonder. Then she croaked out the few words she knew best to describe herself.
"I Yew, bowtruckle, tree-dweller, I like wood-lice, who you?" asked Yew back.

Off in the distance, they heard an owl hoot. It was a deep, throaty hoot. Yew listened to rhe sound, before looking upon the girl again, what a fascinating creature she was.
"Hoo!" said Yew, mimicking the owl, "I know sounds."

Yew liked the girl. She was strange, and didn't seem to belong to any adult, though she didn't understand the sound as well as Yew did, Yew could make any sound she wished. If she belonged to no one, she was Yew's.
Raising a branch finger and pointing to Calla, "My Flower Calla."
And with that, she perched herself on Calla's shoulder. It was so interesting to sit on the shoulder of a strange human and look at the world.

"Okayy, are you alright with going into buildings? Only I live in that large building over there for a few months and then I move to another home for a few months before coming back here." This is going to be soo weird but at least I have a pet/friend that no one else does..

Yew listened to the girl's offer. It sounded fun, and Mama and Papa wouldn't care for Yew's return soon. Yew was no longer a sapling, she was allowed to do as she pleased. But she'd miss her trees...
"Yew is Calla Flower's. Will Yew get tree lice?" asked Yew curiously. "Why Calla Flower no want to live in trees with Yew?

Ya know, she IS starting to grow on me, kinda like a baby first speaking. "I can't live in a tree because I'm not built for living in them but I can promice you as many wood lice as you want and your more than welcome to visit the forest on your own whenever you want to" I explained very patiently to Yew.

Yew frowned, but the idea sounded like so mucb fun, and she knew the forest lkke the back of her branch... Yes, this would be fun.
"Yew likes idea. Yew stays with her Calla Flower!" said Yew excitedly, until she heard voices. Faint as they were, they stuck out in the natural sounds of the forest.
"Yew hears people! Yew say over there people! What Calla Flower do?" askes Yew curiously, pointing a wooden finger in the direction of the sound.

"Then we shall go in that direction. Are you comfy? Yes, then let's go" So that's how I ended up with a new friend in the form of a woodliceand found out where those voices were coming from. 2 Phoenixes, a Centaur and a strange girl. How odd.

Lucinda went to tell them that no, she hadn't heard any more news, but was interrupted by the new arrivals. She looked at them and bowed her head in greeting. "Hello. May I help the two of you?"

Harrigan was surprised to see a young girl appear before he recieved any answer to his questions. She looked vaguely familiar, and seemed the age of a foal! What on earth was she doing in the Forest? He was even more taken aback by the bowtruckle perched comfortably on her shoulder. Why would a bowtruckle care for a human foal?
He saw the phoenix ask the girl a question, and furrowed his brow trying to identify the foal.
"Are introductions not in order?" he asked politely, smiling warmly to the foal.
Yew stared at the bright red phoenix in surprise. It reminded her of sunrise. She remembered long ago seeing a phoenix similar to this, flying in the sky. How many moons ago had she seen such a thing? All she remembered were the trills.
The other darker phoenix looked somewhat terrifying, and like a shadow creature. The other tiny human looked like a young one, not like her Calla Flower, but young nonetheless. The centaur was boring, she'd seen him before as he strolled the forest muttering some nonsense on quaffles and butterbeer.
