Okay, I would really like everyone's opinion of this. I have a companion story to this series, called Observations, that pretty much take place in a future where the books - except the Epilogue - is canon, and has the first chapter explaining how the books got to the four - and how the four got together - while also showing their own reactions to the books, without the words of the books themselves being read.
The plan is that, after the first chapter, each chapter is a response to what's being read - among other things - with a final chapter that ends the story.
What I want to know is if you think I should post it up on here or not. If I do, it'll just be on the main page, but, if you don't think it'll be a good idea, then I'll just leave it on fanfiction.net.
So, what do you think? Should I post it on here, or not?

Possibly ask either PointGiven or Shotgun wheather you can do this. Lady Celestial Star has done a companion on ff.net to her story - ladycelestial.livejournal.com/profile (HP RtB). Her's is one of the best RtB outthere, different to yours, just done 50 chapters, and there is one chapter left of COS. Please read her story in order to get it better understanding. First 6 chapters are on this site. If you do get it done on this site, I would be reading it.

I don't want to bother them unless people are willing to read it. Since it's nothing more than a source of information - in the first chapter - and an overview of what those involved are donig why the characters of the actual series are reading, I have a feeling most people won't read. After all, most people on here are here to read the RtB stories, and participate in the discussions.
I'm not sure if I will read her story or not. I don't like the format of livejournal all that much, so if I do read it, it'll be on here.
Though, I do have to wonder why you say I should read her story. What do I need to understand more?

I've got the chapters she's done on Word, if you want them this way I could email you them, either as individual chapters or as a whole document of the chapters.
The story contains smart Harry, just short of being a Mary Sue, he gets to steal valuable items in the muggle world - ie security tests, he's holding back on his intelligence, he's got the attention of the Rangers, a higher police force in the wizarding world than the aurors. You can say goodbye to Fudge and Umbitch. Made sure that Filch loses his love for corporal punishment.
As well as reading the actual books, there are also chapters that are essentially "recollection scrolls". These can be either good or bad. One bad memory shows where Vernon, just short of killing Harry in a vicious beating, had some good friends in the police force and one of the doctors that tried to get him away from the Dursleys, but it seems that the judge was paid off to allow Harry to stay with the Dursleys. One good memory includes Harry back on his feet after the hospital stay, when he goes to a track to do running, and he wins every race he was put in to.
What I've read on the later chapters on livejournal that she finds time to post on here slightly more difficult, I've actually been thinking that I should go and ask her that if it would be possible to get joint ownership on this site then post the chapters on this site for her, but she still has the overall ownership of the story.

I think I'll stick to the RtB part of it - I don't like an idea of an almost Mary Sue Harry, it turns me off in stories. In fact, I did read the six chapters she had up on here, and, if you can convince her to do a joint ownership for the story, I do know that I will definitely read it. Right now, RtBs are the only HP fics that I'm reading that I dont' get bored with. I'm beginning to phase to another fandom, which is something that I'm prone to do sometimes.
It's really nice of you to offer, but, I think I'll pass on it right now, because of my waning interest in HP right now. I'm still a fan of the books and fanfiction, I'm just not wanting to read as much of it right now.
