This is a very rare event which last happened in May 2004 and won't happen again until December 2117. After that, it will happen in 2125 and then won't happen for another 121.5 years. So be sure to at least watch the podcast!

That is actually kinda cool. Got it going now, it is interesting to see the size difference between the two.

My dad just showed it to me via binoculars reflecting the sun on a piece of paper. It goes to show how huge the sun is compared to Venus. You can barely see the black dot that is Venus!

I saw some of it on TV, but only a snip of it! If I knew this wasn't going to happen again in my lifetime I would have paid more attention to it!
