Would you read a story that have no canon it? I was planning on writing a story of a Beauxbaton girl for her school year, then haves to transfer to Hogwarts in her seventh year to live with a god parent, becauae her parents was murder. One parent is a DE, but was betraying them to a different group in France. I would be using information for a website for Beauxbatons.

Me too, sorry. I'm not keen on anything that doesn't have canon characters in it. I even generally avoid any story that doesn't have Harry as one of the main characters, whether it's an RtB or not.

I guess I can change it, make the first few chapters be about her last days in France, including when the parents die, then it goes to Hogwarts year. Would that be better?

It sounds like an interesting idea, but I honestly probably wouldn't read it since there are little to no canon characters.
If I can offer advice, write what you want to. If it is good quality, reader will flock to you, but never change your story just because someone else wants you to.

I would look into it. The premise sounds good. I do need to shake up what characters I need to read about anyway. What year would the story take place?

Write it, we are always in need of good stories and new characters to fall in love with. If she's good enough people will love her. Just no MARY-SUES. Keep her real and flawed.

It takes place the summer after the war, I was having yhe Golden Trio finish their dinal year, with others. I'm still planning it, but I know it starts out with her parenta dying from the DEs that got away, then she goes live with her godparent. I'm still deciding if I want a canon as her godarent. I have trouble with her name, either Marie Charolette, Montreal, or Genevieve.
