Summary Board Idea

I don't know how many subboards can be put made within a board. (so this idea is going to go like there can be as many as you want.)

Summary Board. Then inside summary board is three subboards: (more can always be added)

Canon RTB (were jk's books themselves aren't changed.)
NonCanon RTB (Were you change sentences in the books.)
Regular fanfiction

Inside Canon RTB can be subsections(though many apply to several and more could probably be added):

Glad you said that other subsections can be added, because one of the RtBs I'm in the middle of trying to write, is the trio, some teachers from Hogwarts, someone from the ministry and a few random characters, all reading the entire series, four years after the war. It won't be canon pairings, and I won't be changing any sentences in the original text. I've created my own ideas of what happened after the last chapter of DH, and have ignored the Crapilogue.

I think one thing that needs to be distinguished is between Evil! bashing and Idiot! bashing. I'm tired of being told my fic doesn't have bashing, just because Dumbledore isn't a dark lord.

I was thinking that most of the Regular fic subsections could have subsections themselves.

we don't need a subsection per story. that information will be in a summary, yes?
We really only need 2-5 sections if that. we can always change things if the lists get too big.

Hey would all of you be okay if I created a fanfiction site that used the email and pming system. I was thinking of trying to create a proboard that would have regular fanfiction and was for several fandoms not only hp.

OK, I think this is getting a bit too complicated. A forum is really not built for what you want to do with it. How about we do something like have a livejournal/dreamwidth account just for the summaries, and we can use the tagging system there, or we can use delicio.us, which is basically meant for just tagging things. I like the delicious idea better myself, because you can search the tag intersections there and you can't really do that in lj (don't know about dw).

The only issue there is that the links can either be private, so only the account owner can view them, or public, so everyone can. If we actually care about this, we can actually bookmark fake links or something, so we can see the summaries and tags but would have to come back here to find the links or PM whoever.

I've finished that website.

I made a website that uses an email system for RTB and mature content. I made a section of the forum only show up to members.

This section is called Email Summaries. All you do is post a summary of your RTB fics or Mature fics. If you have the fics on another site then you include a link to the story on the summary. If you don't have it on another site then It allows people to PM you their email address.

That way people can always read your fics and since none of the copywrite material is directly on the site that should keep them from doing anything.

The website contains RTB sections for HP, Hunger Games, Twilight, Percy Jackson, and an other category.

The website contains sections open to everyone for regular fanfiction of Harry Potter and Naruto .

There is also discussion boards and challenge sections.
Read all the INFOs they explain everything.
