Lucinda beamed at him. "Acid, I think that your idea is a good one. And if it does work, that's great! If not, then, your heart was in the right place. And that's what really counts. We're all doing our best here."

Rhea didn't sleep much longer after Lucinda had left. Her own dreams weren't much different- she kept seeing his face, looking up from her place in his arms, cringing in fear. Her father was off to the side, holding of Mum from helping. Rhea called out for Daddy to be her prince, but Daddy just told Mum, "Disgusting! Defiled! Just let it die!" Rhea woke up when the man morphed into a wolf, dropping her as it padded forward, fangs showing...
Darting up from her sleep, Rhea noticed that Lucinda was already gone. Looking around, she saw Fawkes sleeping not to far away. He also seemed to be having unpleasant dreams, seeing as he was tensed up. The werewolf got up and tried to shake away her dream, wishing they could leave this place and their nightmares behind.

Lucinda nodded. "Alright." she frowned, as a sudden tug pulled at her. Rhea? "Um, I'm sorry, but I have something I need to attend to." she said, before flashing away.

For the second time, Lucinda found herself worrying about Rhea for some reason. There should have been no reason to, but...
"Rhea?" she whispered. "Are you alright?"

Rhea looked up at Lucinda, a bit surprised. "I'm fine." She replied quickly, Lucinda's warm presence managing to help push the memory to the side. It was still there, her father still whispering those things, but it was more manageable now.
"How about you? You got up pretty early."

Lucinda shrugged. "I have to be up. I've got work to do." She nuzzled Rhea in way of greeting. She didn't go into detail, not wanting to alarm her. After yesterday's events, it became clear that some kind of arrangement needed to pass between her and the Dementors.

"You always have work to do." Rhea replied in a half serious tone, and a half teasing. Then the teasing left as the image of the full moon from her memory seemed to come back with full force. A bit confused, she quickly did a count of the day.
"Oh... Er... Lucinda. I hate to give you more work... but, I think that tonight is the... ah..." She went bright red. Rhea absolutely hated the idea that she would be causing the bird more trouble because of a stupid monthly problem... Well technically two of them, but only one of them really mattered.

"But what happened?" Kei insisted, her eyes narrowing, "Did you two do something stupid? Honestly Jei, Your two now, you should know better then to go off and play around when we're on a war ground! And pulling Kohl into whatever it is too, Really!"

Jei looked down at his hooves as he finally gave in and muttered, "We just ran into the spider."

"Spider!" Kei exclaimed, "You mean Agora? Did you two bother her? Wait, Did she hurt you?" She proceeded to step forward and begin checking the two foals for any injuries.

Lucinda's eyes widened. Of course! "The full moon is tomorrow night." she said, giving Rhea a concerned look. "I'll take you some place safe, and wait out the night with you." she said, in what she hoped was a reassuring tone.

Kohl let Kei check her over, glad Lucinda had helped them out, "We're not hurt, we just woke her up. She got angry." Kohl would have grimaced had she been human, but instead her ears twitched.

Rhea narrowed her eyes... She knew that a werewolf was unlikely to ever be able to hurt a phoenix... but she still didn't like the idea of Lucinda anywhere near her during the transformation. "Where could I go?" She asked quickly, her mind flashing toward the cellar in her mother's house. Where she'd transformed since she was five. Rhea missed her Mum- they'd had no contact since this whole mess began...

She was unsure... She wanted to go to her mum's, quite badly in fact. Then Lucinda could stay in the house and not have to deal with seeing Rhea. But Rhea didn't want to ask that of the phoenix- it was far away and Rhea didn't want her to exhaust herself. But it was the only place Rhea knew of... Tentatively, she asked, "Er... M-my mother's house. She has a cellar I've been using since I was first transformed."

All night long, Fawkes had been sitting on a branch, staring at the broken Hogwarts. He had failed to protect it. Albus would be ashamed if he knew... Fawkes had awoken when, quite suddenly, the school burst into flames. It was burning, and he could not stop it.
He jumped up from where he had been sleeping and blinked, looking at Lucinda and Rhea. Shaking it away, he said in a falsely cheery voice, "Good morning Rhea, Lucinda."

She didn't want Kei to worry about the situation any more, or get angry with Agira unneccessarily. Though that spider really scared her. Just think about Jei's words, not Agora, she reminded herself. |

Kei nodded, "He better have!" She gave a glare toward her son, "I have no doubt in my mind that you went off, dragging Kohl along, and went and bothered Agora. She had no right to be foul about it, but you should know better."

Jei merely nodded, he knew better then to argue with his mother when she was angry like this, "Yes mum." Was all he said.

Fawkes stretched his wings, "Slept alright," He replied, hopping over toward them. "How about you?"

"I slept okay." Lucinda said, cracking her neck. "Well, you guys take it easy. I've got another day of work." She trilled a few amused notes, though she didn't feel that way at all.

Kei sighed, "Of course you were. Two foals in a new place, what would you do but explore? AT least your alright..." Then she eyes the two severely, "And I certainly hope you've learned your lesson on prancing about in a desolate place such as this!"

Jei gave Kohl what he hoped was a reassuring glance before he looked at his mum and told her. "Don't worry Mum, we won't be doing it again any time soon."

Lucinda's first instinct was to say no. Fawkes wouldn't like what she was going to do. But, she also knew that she couldn't do this by herself. "Sure, if you want to." She looked to Rhea. "Stay here, please? I don't mean to be demanding, but until things are settled, I don't want you to...get hurt."

Rhea nodded reluctantly. She didn't like the idea of Lucinda going off without her, but Fawkes would be with Lucinda, and she knew that consider how much of an effect this place had on her, she wouldn't be much help. "Alright then... Perhaps I'll walk about and see how everyone else is doing."
