The wolf felt comfortable resting here. He lay his head by the female, eying everyone curiously. A new question formed, and he asked slowly, "Is this a pack?"

She looked at him, "I believe so. Is that a problem?"

The wolf was surprised at the straightforward answer. So this was pack. He replied carelessly, "Never had a pack before. Feels nice."

"Never been in a pack myself either," she confessed. "It's... different."

"Pack is nice," said the wolf, "I like this pack. I protect my pack." As he spoke, he held an air of solemnity. This pack belonged to him, and he'd never let it go. If his pack was safe, he would be happy.

She didn't know what to say, "Well that's nice of you." No one ever said that to her before.

She stared at him, it felt odd that someone was willing to protect her. She rolled onto her side, and watched the cub bounce off the walls. It's going to be a long night. "Very noble of you."

He shut his eyes, and yawned. The excited yips of the cub sounding around him, though, they weren't disturbing at all. He rather liked it. "Thank yu," he said, before nudging her with his foreleg. He wasn't sure what the strange feeling of shyness, anger and happiness was. Wolves weren't supposed to feel this, this, embarrassment, were they?

"Quiet cub," she growled as she watched him stop jumping on the older wolf. "Go lay in your corner and calm down. She faced the wolf and closed her, trying to get comfortable.

The cub played around for a while, before he too felt the need to sleep. He barked a cheerful goodnight and curled up on the floor.
