I requested an invite but I have to wait until November. Is there any one who can give me an earlier invite?

I'm on there now. I'm trying to figure it out on how to send invites. I let you know if I've figured it out.
I sent one last May, and originally said back end of October, but I managed to get one around 3rd August.

There are so many people trying ot get in right now, that the admins of AO3 disabled the "invite friends" option. It said so in their last newsletter. So, right now there's only the invitiation waiting list...
So, we'll just have to wait. (It told me something of early November... *sigh*)

It now depends on how fast they can get through the invitations that they have at the moment.

Yea, friend invites have been disabled for now. Sorry.
Anyway, I requested an AO3 invite back at the beginning of June when this all started and I just got my invite last week. On the other hand, initially my estimated date was in October and I got it 2 months earlier than initially promised. But at the same time, the reason I got it earlier was because they increased the number of invites sent out each day. If they don't do that then it may actually take until Nov
To be honest, AO3 isn't that great at the moment in my opinion. The awesome tag filters were about the biggest reason I wanted an invite and now they're telling us that they may not get the tags back up until the end of September. I'm kinda peeved with them about it. >_>
