So I've always pictured Harry as a cross between Orlando Bloom from Pirates of the Carribean and Kyoya Otari from Ouran High Shcool Host Club you know very bishonen but not ridiculously attractive very tall and lean almost slender
What about you guys

for me a young Captain Becker from Primeval and i would have to agree with you about Orlando Bloom, don't know why but those are the two i always picture. then again Daniel Radcliffe is hot and plays a brilliant part.

I think Dan made a cute Harry Potter in the first two movies, a bit unsure about the third, but from there I can't see him as Harry. I don't really think about his looks, but I imagine he looked great from his sixth year ..

*snicker* Orlando? Seeing that a lot of people keep confusing Daniel with Orlando's LotR co-star Elijah Wood, that seems a bit funny to me. But Orlando is rather hot, that much I'll gladly admit

Orlando is cute!! Although I'm not one of these girls who swoon at men, he's always cute to watch if he comes on whatever movie I'm watching.

Agreed. Not a fangirl myself, either, but I like him. And from what I have read, he seems to be a nice guy, too.

I see Harry as a mixture of Rafael Nadal and Orlando Bloom, with Orlando's boyish charm and Rafa's slightly rugged appearance. But that's just my opinion.

To each their own. Besides, while I see Orlando more as Legolas and later Will Turner, who am I to complain about you imagining Harry more like that guy? Daniel didn't really cut it for me, after all.

I almost got the sense that they kept him mostly because of his hair color or something like that. Actors get changed all the time, and well... It wouldn't have hurt to change actor in GoF. His hair was totally ... WTF.
Emma's Hermione was way to pretty, and Ron, well.. He looked alright. No complains there.

Can't really say much, as I only vaguely remember the first two movies. After that, I gave up and watched LotR instead. More fun, and *much more* eye candy

LOL, true. Hobbits, Rangers and Elves, however ... Peter neglected to cast someone for Elladan, Elrohir and Glorfindel, but even so there were so many good-looking guys *drool*

I always imagined Sirius as the Ranger for LotR. I was real disappointed with who they cast even though I knew he wouldn't be good lookin straight out of azkaban

I was real disappointed with who they cast even though I knew he wouldn't be good lookin straight out of azkaban Hm, Aragorn and Sirius at that time were both rather scruffy, but I really liked Viggo as Aragorn. Ooh. Good looking guys ... So that's what I'm looking forward when I will sometimes in the future watch the movies .. Oh, definitely. Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood, Viggo Mortensen, David Wenham and Karl Urban alone are a lot of fun to look at, and when you add the others ... Oh, and if you get your hands on the EE DVD, then you *have* to watch the appendices. They are the best making-of ever!

Oh. Fabulous! Although some of the guys aren't my taste, but yeah. To old, some of them. (Btw of old good looking men, George Clooney doesn't count, as he's ... George Clooney.) x)

Oh, maybe that's really an age thing. I'm a good bit ahead of you in that regard, after all. As for Clooney, I don't care for him anyway, so I won't argue with you about that

Well, I don't care much for him, either, but I won't deny he's good looking, he's also way to old for me, but yeah. Eye candy. One of the few 'old' men I think of as eye candy.
Oh yes. You're probably the same age as my parents. x)

Sorry I said that wrong I meant that I always the man who played the Ranger should have played Sirius. Ah, now I understand. Hmmm ... Viggo as Sirius, too? Would probably work, save that it would get a bit confusing when you are into both fandoms! And then add that Ian McKellen was asked to play Dumbledore ... I'd always see Gandalf and Aragorn there. Well, I don't care much for him, either, but I won't deny he's good looking, he's also way to old for me, but yeah. Eye candy. One of the few 'old' men I think of as eye candy. Oh yes. You're probably the same age as my parents. x) IMO, you can find someone handsome or attractive even if he's too old for you. But you are probably right about me being the age of your parents

I just told someone today that I planned on start reading this stuff. She told me that she knew one guy who was totally obsessed with LotR, that obsessed that our most important and biggest project in school. We have a week off to write around 10-15 pages. This guy chose LotR as his subject. He got top grades. The highest one you can have.

Wow - sounds like someone who shared my fate to fall into Middle-Earth and get lost there But it's a fascinating tale. Usually, I am not even into fantasy, HP and even more so LotR were the only exceptions.

Yeah. She said he knew everything around there, compared it with my obsession of HP ... But I imagine he has to be much more obsessed than I am. I'm don't consider making HP to my project, when it's my turn. Although that would be pretty interesting, now I think about it.

Luckily I don't have to do it, it would be hard to chose, as I love both fandoms. HP is probably the easier one, more child-friendly in language and setting, though.

Yeah... That project is that big that we can chose anything we want in any subject. All from some book/movie to something in biology, or even math. *shudders.* I'm probably gonna take history or a language subject.

Oh, I have to do something like that! Yeah, an example paper is a LoTR one, Feminism in Lord of the Rings I think the paper was. Either way, it's 4000 words to write an essay on any subject and if you don't pass, you fail and don't get a degree. And the subject has to be super specific. But yeah, some guy did LoTR.

I did something like that a few years ago. I made a video game of HP with Powerpoint for a class project. I got so many weird looks when I presented it. lol.

Yeah ... That's one of the reasons I'll never chose HP to present. I'm a proud fan, but with my class mates I feel at bit left out, so I'll only take 'mature' books to present.
