Friend with Benefits

Recently I've entered my first casual relationship what do you guys think of this sort of thing?

Hm ... I am rather sceptical. I have a "friend" who judges people only by how she can benefit from them, and frankly, it's downright annoying. Maybe she's an extreme case, but I would be wary if a friendship is based on benefits alone. Sorry.

Of course, if that is only part of it, it may be different.

Ah, that's what you exactly mean ... well, you will have to decide if it will hurt your friendship or not. Maybe it's better to do it with someone you already know, but it's not something I feel I can really judge from here.

This sort of things are really foreign in my culture. We don't enter any physical relationship outside of the marriage and anything else is regarded as a crime that is as bad as murder, that's what Islam teaches us.

But well, in the end everyone is free to do as he wants because we all have the right to choose our beliefs and paths.

That's something that has been changing over the last century in the West. Once sex in marriage only was the usual case here (save, of course, the brothels and some who just coulnd't leave it be). It's clear that in your country things are very different (though to compare it with murder seems a bit strong). As you said, cultural difference.
