This is still to do with Azaelia's new story, we just want to know, do you think Harry would cry if the Dursleys' were to die?
We figure that he would be upset for their passing as they were his family, but do you think he would actually cry?

No, definitely not. He probably would be upset, because they were his family, but since they didn't want him in their house and showed it, I don't think he'd be too upset, unless he felt there was something he could have done to save their lives, in which case he would probably feel guilty as well.
I just can't see Harry crying, at all.

Same here. Depending on circumstances, he might feel guilty, but cry? He didn't even do that when he lost Sirius.
If they died in a Death Eater attack, for instance, Harry would feel it was all his fault, as usual, but if it was, say, a fire caused by something unsuspicious, like them forgetting to turn the oven off, or a technical fault in some device, then it would be different, and he would just be upset.

That's what we thought. We thought that Harry would be sad about their passing, but wouldn't shed any tears. The reason I asked was because when Az wrote about Harry finding out about their death in her story, she wrote it where harry was sad to learn about their passing but didn't cry and she wasn't sure if people would see it as we do, or if they would think she took Harry out-of-character and made him heartless.

Can't speak for others, but personally, I can't remember Harry crying in the books, either, so it would be completely in-character for him to be sad or upset, but not to cry. In the original story he's more heartless than in some fics I've seen.

I don't think Harry would cry. I think he would be upset but I don't think he would cry. He came close to crying in the books maybe twice that I can remember reading once was when Molly huged him after the tri-wizared ternament, and once was after Dumbldore told him that his mum died to save him and that was why Quirrell could not tuch him.
