Hmm, I see Kendra as probably very proud and distant. By the way, I'll try and post some WW1 facts tonight, but pretty much women don't have rights yet. But muffles have some technology and advancements, cars are either not there or really poor quality.

I found a relative of mine the other day that had been in it and died. Thomas Thomas (is actually his name) received 'Pip,Squeak and Wilfred' i.e. all three medals - British,Victory and Star. There were two versions of the Star the 1914 and the 1914-15. Thomas received the 1914 Star so he was abroad at the start of the war so either already a soldier or one of the first the answer the call. His name is remembered on the Ypres Menin Gate Memorial in Belgium and also in the Great War Book of Remembrance within St Thomas', Stockton-on-Tees.  P.S. Will delete image in 20 minutes. |

I think I'll bring in Merope- She'd be about 7 in 1914. She'll be fun, maybe she runs away after everything starts up and she has a chance to escape her father? And we don't know what happens to her mother, so we can play around with that.

I think I'll use Belvina Burke ~Nee Black as my families Mother. (I'll scootch her birth year a few years so that she isn't only 14 when giving birth to the eldest child! Maybe I'll make her born in 1882, so she will be 18. Her deathdate also has to change to being 1908) Herbert Burke can be the father. Officially they had three unnamed children- but two sons and one daughters... Which I would be okay with, instead of my intended two daughters and one son. This makes them all purebloods (As, if Belvina had married anything less than another pureblood, she would surely be blasted off the tree), and relatively wealthy. Plus, it gives others plenty of ammo to dislike them  |

I want her to be 21 in 1914 and it just doesn't work for the Dumbledore part. Maybe I should go back to the origonal idea.
Dorea Black Potter was born in 1920 so she's out.
Same for Charlus.
Maybe I can still do the idea from the James' Parents thread?
Possible ideas..
Lycoris Black (1904-1965) make it earlier birth...
........... McGonagoll (Minerva's Aunt) she was always fond of James.

If you want her to be 21 in 1914, then she would be born in 1893-ish. Which I think is impossible, as Percival was in prison before then, and Kendra never re-married. She could be a cousin- it is never discounted that either Percival or Kendra had younger siblings. Then her parents could have died and she moved in with Kendra and Ariana, who would later died when she was only 4. Dumbledore may have raised her after that, or maybe Aberforth takes her away when he is old enough because he doesn't trust Albus. Tons of possibilities Wingsy!
