I'm home, I had the Op and I'm in mild discomfort and I've had skin ripped of my hands and lips. Why oh why could I not have magical medicine?

Ugh, what's that for a strange OP, ripping skin off? Anyway, I hope you recover quickly.
Magical medicine would be great sometimes, wouldn't it?
It certainly takes some getting used to, though there are a few features I like better now. The Quick Reply box is bigger, the PM now look more like at FFN, so you can see the one you are replying to without having to quote it. On the other hand, the default avatar when you don't have one absolutely sucks. Had to finally make an avatar, just to get rid of that stupid head.

Imagine my problem! I tried to change it and it doesn't seem to want to... I'm stuck with this until I find a picture that doesn't give me an error message every time!

Strange. Usually I am the one having problems, as not all websites are working well with Safari (at my LotR forum, I had to switch to Firefox to upload photos, because with Safari it just didn't work). And I just clicked on the link, chose the pic and it was there.
Did you check if the size was inside the guidelines for avatars? Maybe it was just too big?

It might have been too big, yeah. Although I am on safari too, and it might be something to do with my iPad. :/

Possible, as I don't have one, I lack the experience to say anything. But I know that some stuff works for a friend only on the laptop, not on the iPad, so that might be the reason, too.

UPDATE: I've had a proper sleep only waking up at 4am and now I have a headache but that's normal if I get up early one day and late the next.
I'm moving about like normal, I'm not lifting anything heavy- just a drink etc.
I've managed to have a wash and so forth.
I'm currently waiting for my Aunt to arrive- hopefully with the dressings that she no longer needs as I wasn't given any fresh ones.
