Unfortunately, I don't think he does. While I do pity him, the fact is that he allowed himself to become bitter and twisted. He made bad choices and shouldn't be hailed a hero for them.

Yes, he made bad choices and then took them out on everyone else, particularly his students. That's why I find it so hard to understand why so many people think he's such a cute, lovable guy.

I do like AU where he is made out to be the good guy, but enjoy more realistic stories where he slowly starts to become a better person. Just please, no Snarry... DX

I like this and I'm glad you've put it here where it won't be deleted. One thing that I noticed though is that you have Padfoot snarling at someone but it looks like he's talking. The quote is "blah blah!" Padfoot snarled. I can't remember what he was saying. I like the bashing though I really hope that Padfoot gets away from Remus and goes for Snape's family jewels at some point. I hope someone tells Harry that McGonagall tried to check on him but Dumbles wouldn't let her. Update soon please!

I'm halfway through the next chapter. It's quite a doozy, since there are things I wanted to go back and explain - how Harry was able to come back looking less upset. I promise that Harry and Minerva's relationship isn't ruined. I love both characters too much to do that.

Might be *cheeky grin* Seriously though I read that story and realized that you may be able to use a few points from it and expand on them to add more to the story.. I just read the story, A Marauder's Plan, myself after seeing it posted here and I would have to agree with the assessment. It would incorporate nicely if you changed it enough to make it your own. It was a really funny story with a lot of well thought out writing. The only thing I disagree with is the same as Miss Wings in how it didn't show the difficulties of having to eat so much after basically being starved for so long. Snape is pleading with Dumbles over the fact that the whole thing, everything he did, was done to protect Lily's child. I can see Dumbledore insuring Snape act a certain way towards Harry due to a) keeping up his role as a spy and hater of all things Potter for the Deathwankers and b)secretly not allowing Harry someone at Hogwarts, adult-wise, that Harry felt he could go to that knew his parents and would, if given time, probably figure things out. I also think that Snape used his feeling towards Harry's father to make it easier to display the attitude and reactions that the Headmaster insisted upon. His sadness and pleas within the memory appeared to genuine to be fabricated for Harry's benefit. I concede that Snape didn't need to take things as far as he did within cannon, but maybe it wasn't him controlling what happened or even aware of what was going on... as Dumbledore was an extremely magically powerful man! |

I really want to kill Snape in this! He's worse than just being sadistic bast.../sorry and I love Nevile so much <3 He's so brave and sweet as always  really want to know who called Harry at the end of sneak peak chapter your story is amazing!! |

I love snape as a character so i have to say that you are an amazing writer because i go half way through chapter three and nearly screamed Die you B***** Die (Just as well i didn't or the other people in the room would have given me funny looks).
The Nevile and harry pairing is one of the only slash pairings i have never read, just never thought about it.
please update soon and Kill snape
