Hey there! I really enjoy these stories--perhaps because I haven't read book 5 or 6 for a while, but your writing is still quite good. There a just a couple of things bugging me, however: first of all, Mr. Granger's attitude towards Ron. I understand a father being protective of his daughter, but it seems like it's always the guys who do this, and never the girls, and I'm getting tired of seeing the exact same thing happen in every single reading-the-books fic. That's just the problem with this 'genre': there is very little original content and all fics resemble each other. I like how you brought in the Grangers because Hermione was worried about what they'd think, though, and that, along with a few other things, make this in my opinion one of the better fics on this site, and I mean it. The other thing is very minor, but I just wanted to point out that Hermione never went into the Forbidden Forest with Harry in first year. That only happened in the movie. You mentioned her being there in 'The Eye of the Snake'.

Hermione did go into the forest in the first book. It was for detention with Harry, Malfoy and Neville. You may be confusing it with the scene in Prisoner of Azkaban when they went running through the forest in the movie.

I love what's been posted so far. I'm just sad that I've caught up to what's written. I'm really interested to here how the rest of this story plays out, especially "the lighting struck tower" with snap killing dumbeldore and them with Tonks and lupin. I really hope the author continues this story soon. Its one of the best ones I've ever read.
