Hey, they posted new chapters of Chamber of Secrets we are now at chapter 7. i just unlocked a new indepth fact and it is about purebloods. on it is a list of the twenty-eight truly pure-blood families and Potter isn't on there. I thought they were true purebloods until James and Lilly.  |

I was shocked to see that the Potters weren't on the list also. Then again there were a couple of other families I considered Pureblood that aren't on the list also.
I think it's a biased list. An unknown author (presumably Nott) wrote out a list of who he considered to be Pureblood. He seems to have based it on what he thinks a true Pureblood should be. Most of the names on the list seem to be Slytherins and Death Eaters.
I think the Potters didn't make the list because their family most likely married Muggles, Muggleborns and Halfbloods on a regular basis. James probably had a Muggle relative (an aunt, uncle, cousin or even a great-grandparent) somewhere down the line.
And the only reason I can see for the Weasleys making the list was because they were related closely to a good number of people on the list so the author was forced to include them.

I'm having trouble with a lot of things. I've been trying to comment in the common room, but it doesn't show the latest comment.

I messed up the potion the first time and now it won't let me try again. It says I need more.nettles but you can't buy them and when I went back to previous chapter you can't recollect them.

Look in the chapters "the worst birthday" in the wheelbarrow and "the potions master" hanging from Hagrid's hut. If it won't let you collect them check your ingredients list to see whether you still have nettles there. It may not have registered them gone. If that's the case try making the potion outside of the chapter or even a new one and see if that sets it right.

I managed to make them before but they stopped working for me when the new chapters were put up. I think they screwed something up.

Is anyone else having trouble with brewing the potion or is it just my computer playing up? For me, it's getting to a certain point in the potion before it acts up, just after I finished brewing for 60 minutes. It seems that there isn't enough time to finish brewing. If you got any pointers to help me out, please do so. I'm under PurpleMarauder25370. I've never created any potions because they've never worked for me... It's probably due to the type of Internet Explorer you've got. I've only started brewing potions when I upgraded to Google Chrome. |
