I challenge whoever is reading this to create a characters reading the book story at Hogwarts but the year before the golden trio are set to go. Their must be the teachers, the 1990 students of hogwarts, the golden trio and their families, and Remus.No time-travel, no future golden trio, no future generation, no James and Lily and No Sirius until the third book is done. MUST ALL STAY CANON.

That would be quite interesting to read, not seen one that fits that exact criteria. But it would be a good one to be sure if it could be pulled off.

There's another one that's close. It starts a few days before Harry gets his first letter, and includes only Harry, Hermione, Luna and Cedric. It's called Reading the Books by HeartsinStrangeness, and has recently been published here, due to the unfair persecution of these stories on FanFiction.net.

Do you have any ideas how and why they are going to get these books? eg. Future golden trio sends them back in hopes of changing the future of creating an alternate one.
