Beta reader wanted

I need a beat reader for my brand new RtB fic: "The Founders at Hogwarts"

What I need help with:
First off, English isn't my first language. So, most of my problems lie with grammar and sentence structure. I also occasionally mix up "to"/"too" and "of"/"off". I'm at war with prepositions.

Secondly, this is my very first HP fic, so I'd love to get advice on how to get the voices right, or even on some HP stuff I might have missed.

Thirdly, I speak and write British English. So, it would be great if my future beta would do that, too.


What I plan to do with the story:
The fic is a mixture of RtB and AU fanfic. The founders appear in Hogwarts during Harry's forth year on the evening before the champions for the Triwizard Tournament are chosen. They try to find out what exactly has gone wrong with Rowena's new "relocation" -spell, meet up with Harry, Neville, Luna, and Draco, and while researching find the Harry Potter books in a forgotten corner of the library. They start reading the forth book, helping Harry through the Tournament, and generally overhauling Hogwarts on the side...

I plan to have them read the books 4 to 7, all during the Triwizard Tournament.


Who will read:
Rowena, Godric, Salazar, Helga
Harry, Neville, Draco, Luna


Pairings: (most likely)
Neville / Hannah
Draco / Astoria
(I want to take a look at how exactly Draco and Astoria got to know each other. The same for Neville and Hannah.)


How far am I with writing:
I've got the first chapter halfway done. It's taking me longer than I htought, because there's no RtB-part in it yet. I hope that I'll have that finished by next week. After that, I hope to finish one chapter every two or three weeks...

Well, I don't speak British English, but I'd be happy to help if you want me to. I'm actually really good with spelling and grammar. Not perfect, but then again most of us aren't. I'm also someone you can bounce ideas off of, and know how to keep characters in character, (though I often change them a little for my own story needs). Message me if you're interested.

Your prologue was great and I would love to read more of your work as a beta, if you need anymore help. I'm a bit picky about using correct words like 'to' or 'too' so, I can definitely help with any of those problems. I don't use British English regularly, but I am familiar with it (I've even gotten myself to regularly use a few words from British English as a substitute to my normal ones )

Also, the plot is really intriguing so, I really would get back any chapters to you quickly enough.

That said, I'm really sorry, you two, but it will be a while longer. I've just now come back home and one scene of the chapter is still unfinished...
