I really hope that you continue your story it is one of my favourites but I understand if you choose not to.

I would suggest opening your own livejournal. It would be completely up to your control as you can make it that only friends can see your post and stop the trolls from finding it.

Livejournal seems to be working for quite a few of us. Or you could set up your own blog on blogspot, blogger, tumblr, etc.

so...three months later and uni is over and im getting back into my story....however ive decided that im going to change the format of the story because im sick of it getting deleted, so its harry and ron chasing death eaters by day and telling stories at night about what they got up to in their school days. I've worked out that itll should still take the same amount of time they would have had to read the books and most of the characters are still going to be in it. I was going to do it as memories but i decided to only do that for the big parts that i wouldnt be able to explain...so if anyone is actually reading this and can remeber a part that they really liked from the original then send me a message and ill try to work that part in...ill also be posting on both FF and possibly this site.

Oh thank goodness!!! When I read your first post all I could think of was NOOOOOOOOO! Isilarma did away with the book parts and it's just not the same. I don't know anything about livejournal but I know several authors from here went to AO3 and there have been no problems that I know of.

AO3 is good, but it's almost impossible to join at the moment. LiveJournal's fairly easy to join - just create a profile and follow the directions.

I've been having a LJ account for ages, though I used it mostly to review and barely posted anything. As far as I remember, it was basically working with html codes. So the same as here, just with a < > instead of [ ].
There's quite a long FAQ where you might find answers.

i was originally going to post it on your fanfiction but its in the process of being taken down apparently ill look into AO3 and LJ i also have a few bits an pieces that i will post on here like for instance my idea for Remus offically giving into Tonks will have to do with the older Harry and Ron "re-decorating" Remus's room, ill post pictures of the stuff im describing like furniture and whatever so you guys understand what im talking about

Personally, I like YFF more than AO3 so far and still hope that they can keep the site up and running. There were people who offered help, I just don't know what came of it.
In any cases I hope you continue the story, no matter where, and I look forward to anything you might post!

It's not HTML anymore on LJ - at least, I've never needed to use it.

Really? Back when I was using it more often, you needed it for bold, italics, links, special characters and the like. Maybe it has changed lately, I've not done more than just leave short comments now and then in the last year or two.

Yep, just post it. You will probably have to cut the chapters into more than one part, due to length, like here.
Oh, and if you'd put the chapter itself under a cut, it would be appreciated, because it makes the friends pages of people who are friending you and following your story less blown up. (That means that the chapter title could be basically a link you have to click to open the chapter. Without cut, the whole chapter shows up at once. Look at this site, then you will understand what I mean.

Oh, and just so you know, here you don't need to put spaces into links or mail addresses. It's just FFN who eats them when you don't trick the system with spaces.
