God, Percy and his cauldron bottoms! As for his thoughts about his family, I was just smirking and thinking he’s going to have his world turned upside down. Imagine his face when he finds out that he kept a mass murderer as a pet for so long!

Sounds like you are going to use flashbacks to avoid having to read the first three books, too? Less work and still giving the most important parts.

Looks like Dawlish is one of these who allow the Minister to do the thinking for them, forgetting that the man has about one brain cell to his name. No wonder the magical world is such a mess.

Ch. 2:

lol, I’d get sick from Umbitch even without writing about her. One of the most despicable characters in the whole series.

*snort* Reading Umbitch talking about the muggle justice system being incompetent is really rich, coming from her! The magical one is much worse! God, if I were Tonks, I’d strangle her pretty soon.

Logically, Tonks shouldn’t have to worry about Grimmauld Place. Neither of them is the secret keeper, so they should not be able to see/speak the name. Or at least I have seen that frequently in fanfictions and thought it rather logical. But I agree with her about Percy being brainwashed.

Grrr. If that pink toad says one more time that Harry has killed someone, I can’t guarantee for anything any more!

Ha, Amelia is already figuring out what an idiot the Minister actually is! Good

As for the question at the end, I think it’s still believable how much these two know, even though Dumbledore is extremely secretive and loves to keep his knowledge to himself.

I love the story so far. I just started today. I can't wait for Amelia and Scrimgeour to figure everything out. I like how it was Percy's daughters that sent the books back. Can I beat Fudge and Umbridge pretty please? Maybe knock them out for a chapter or two or more like to death.

Kitty: Thanks for the review. Yes, Percy will be in for a shock when he finds out that Molly and Lucy are his daughters. I always figured there had to be a few people thick enough in the Ministry to allow Fudge to do their thinking and Dawlish is one of them. Yeah, Umbridge is definitely the character I hate the most and she really is two-faced. Yes, you're right about Grimmauld place, but Tonks is still a bit nervous, especially as the Ministry will know the location and will be able to watch the area. Hopefully you won't destroy too much as Umbridge is just as annoying this chapter.

I figured that Percy's daughters might do something like that, especially if they found out what an idiot their dad was for a time. Sorry, but Fudge and Umbridge are necessary for the story, but when I'm finished, you have permission to torture them however you'd like.

Another fun chapter, despite my urge to strangle Umbitch and Fudge. If anyone ever needed a brain transplanation, then it'd be Fudge. How on earth did he ever become Minister? And get an Order of Merlin for it?? As for the toad ... I hope you have them locked up safely, or I can't guarantee for anything

As for Percy ... well, he shows some tiny shreds of doubt about Umbitch at least, though he has his head still firmly up Fudge's nether regions. Let's see how much longer.

Amelia, however, is on the right track with Sirius, which pleases me. And the end had me fairly dancing in joy and anticipation - they are going to find out that Sirius is innocent, Pettigrew alive, that Percy kept the murderer as a pet for so long, and the Aurors get a first-hand view of Fudge's absolute refusal to listen. Can't wait for the next update(s)!

For the moment, have a wonderful holiday! And while I understand completely that your studies have to come first, I still hope you will find time to write.

You do this wonderfully. I love the way all the characters interact. Everytime Umbrudge opens her mouth, I want to strangle her. I can't wait until Rufus and Amelia learn the truth. I want to write more, but since I'm using an iPod I'll keep this quick and easy. Percy's great in ann his idiocy. I really want to see his reaction to POA. I kind of wish you'd kept it a mystery still, but I guess the later books don't really explain it as well. I wonder how Fudge and Umbridge will react to Skeeter and Malfoy's nastiness, especially since they're so vile.. Dawlish is interesting, the way you write him I mean. He seems a whole heck of prejudiced, and I always thought he was little more than a bumbling follower. I hope Tonks attacks Umbridge, or corners Percy and tries to persuade him. Both scenes would be awesome, the first to quell my bloodlust for Umbitch, and the second to pacify it.

Kitty: I do wonder how Fudge got into office when it's obvious he's an idiot. After I'm finished with them, you're free to do whatever you'd like with them. Should a 'let's kill Fudge' thread start. Percy is one of my favourite characters, so I was very annoyed when he left his family. I do think that once his head starts to clear, he'll be able to see everything he did wrong.
I'm partly writing the chapters about Sirius for my sanity as I couldn't stand having everyone but Tonks and Kingsley thinking he's evil. Two or three, I can stand, but not six. Oh, and yeah, Percy is going to flip out when he realizes what he did. I have a feeling Fudge will be extremely disliked by everyone, except for Umbridge, Dawlish, and Percy, though they're the only one who like him at the moment.

Novella: I'm glad you're enjoying it, though sorry you're always wanting to strangle Umbridge. I do know that keeping Sirius' innocence a mystery would be decent, but I do not want to write any more Sirius bashing than I have to. I don't want to deal with six characters. And yes, the reactions to Skeeter and Malfoy will certainly be intesting. I'm glad you find Dawlish interesting and I've never seen him as a bumbling follower, but then, everyone sees characters differently.
Thanks for those suggestions, and I do think that both of them have a very high chance of happening, especially when Umbridge's true nature is revealed in OOTP.

soumy: I'm glads you're enjoying the story. Again, sorry for making you want to kill Umbridge, but that's just how she is. As for updating, I don't really know. My ideal schedule would be every one to two weeks, but as I'm going to college in a few weeks, I don't know how that will hold up. Once I get into my routine there, it'll be easier. I'll update as often as I can though.
