We all know that the Golden Trio, Teddy and the other Next Generation kids have sent back the books to Harry's 5th year for Umbridge to read in front of Hogwarts but why not have Percy from after the war come back? The only story that had Percy come back was the Cora Elaine one and that got taken down.
Percy can't reveal himself until after the 4th book is over though if you want him to reveal himself to Harry before that go ahead
I'd prefer it if Harry wasn't with Ginny or Hermione but you can write him with whomever you want. Daphne, Tracey, Susan, Hannah, Cho, Katie, Alicia and Angelina are okay in my book. Slash couples are okay Harry and Neville or Sirius and Remus for example. Ron and Hermione are okay together but if you want to change that one go ahead
Make Harry, Ron and Hermione get close with students from Gryffindor and the other houses
Sirius is allowed to be there for the entire reading. Make it a logical reason and not Dumbledore stating that Sirius is innocent and everyone buys that.
Sirius and Harry bonding
No bashing of characters except Fudge and Umbridge. The characters can criticize each other but no Molly, Ron, Ginny, Sirius, Snape, Dumbledore bashing.

Your right not many have had Percy do it. I think I have only seen like two stories with him as the starter, not counting the recent postings on this site.
So be nice to see more ^^

There was one similar to this premise. It was by Cora Elaine (I think that was her username) and it was called "Ending the War with a Book."
It started off shortly before the Third Task and Percy brought the books (4-7) to read.
Unfortunately, the author deleted it (twice). None of the deletions had anything to do with the purges, though.

I mentioned Cora Elaine in the first post not to be rude or anything. The last time it was deleted was 2 or so years before this current mess. I liked that story. I'm just surprised no one has created another Percy brings back the books series

How about The Reading Trio, by The Venquine? It's not up on this board yet, and has been deleted by ff.net, but it has future Harry, Dennis, and Percy bring OOtP back to fifth year.

oh man, I cannot wait for this one to be taken... I hope the author writes it near the end of book 5  P.S. Can anyone tell me how to put up a story? I want to write one here but I'm a total fail at technology related stuff.. |

Cora Elaine's fic had Percy coming back to Hogwarts during the Tri-wizard Tournament, so that could be the one that you're thinking of. She removed it awhile back, but I don't think it had to do with a purge.

There was another one where Percy went back together with an OC, Lexi, maybe that's the one Yorushka thinks of? They were collecting people like the Prewetts, Tonks, Blacks ...
Cora Elaine removed her story about a year ago already, so I don't think that's the one she means.

Well, as I said, I didn't actually read it, I just skimmed over the summary and thought 'RtB where Percy goes back?' and then effectively forgot the contains of the summary However, since it's such a rare material, I guess it was the fic Kitty is talking about. Definitely not Cora Elaine's if she deleted it so long ago. |

Hmm... I saw quite a few Percy Jackson RTB with Harry Potter on FFn... but they're all probably deleted now...
I was wondering (different topic...) is FFn only concentrating on Harry Potter RtB fics? Or are they doing the other fandoms too?

A friend of mine is heavily into Twilight, and she told me that it's the same there - lots of stories deleted. Remember, it's not only th RtB, but anything sexual, too - poor kids could get damaged for life if they did read about something worse than a kiss, after all ...  Obviously, in a lot of fandoms, stories were posted as M that were in truth MA and adult only, so these get deleted as well. (Though, from what I have heard years ago, I strongly suspect that they aren't too picky and delete enough stories that don't go too far, just because the sensibilities of that prudish Union are hurt. |

They seem to have loads of problems with song fics and chat and list formats too, saying that it's against the rules. I took my time today to go through ToS at FFN, I spent about two hours reading it and still, I couldn't find anything like this there. Well, maybe it's written somewhere else? Now I'm writing their 'leader' about this. Wonder if I get reported If so, I better get a move on with my fic that I didn't touch for almost a year. |

The only place you can find the rules is when you log in and go to the publish section. I know, it took me forever too, because I just wanted to read the rules and wasn't thinking about writing anything.

Oh, yeah, found it. Well seems like those really are against the rules. However, I saw one person complaing about the fact that people are asking the author questions in their reviews... Some pople are just plain weirdos.

Well, I could understand that complaint if it was just that stupid demand to be told when exactly the author is going to update again. But what's wrong with story-related questions?? Do they feel attacked because we haven't understand something, point a possible problem out or just ask a rhetorical question while thinking aloud? Weirdos, indeed.
