Now that's an interesting source for the books. Can't you just see Hermione scoff at that? ;D I like the beginning, and particularly that Dumbledore went and got Sirius out of that hellhole and he's free now. About time! One thing confused me a bit - if that's set in March/May 1993, then it's during CoS, and that fits to what Dumbledore said. But Snape's report fits better with the end of PoA. Or did Sirius's release speed up the process? What about Scabbers/Wormtail?

Everything sounds that we are in summer between year three and year four for me, so if you changes the year to summer 1994, that should be correct.
Black has had leaved the jail otherwise he must explain for Fudge why he is innocent.
Snabe have information about Peter.
This information sounds about that we are in year four.
For me, i coming to follow this storyline to the end.

Thanks Kitty279 and ericus for the reviews.
I have changed a small detail thanks to your reviews.
the books are read between the second and third years. I've changed the month that the books are found to the month of May. You see, I believed that Dumbledore was removed as headmaster between the months of March and May. I was correct. I did some research and, thanks to the HP Lexicon (I'm not to sure if I can trust them, but it was the only place that gave an answer), I found that he was removed May 8th. I believe that two months (May-June) would be enough time for him to read the books and to break Sirius out.
The books will be read during the summer of 1993, before Harry's third year. I don't know if I'll bring the trio or any others in right now. At this moment it is just the Order.
I know that in the third book the weasleys go to egypt, but in my plot that is a cover for them.

Hadn't even thought about when Dumbledore was removed from the school! And yes, two months should be enough. If he hasn't much to do, two to three weeks should be enough to read, even if you take your time to look careful at the details.
Ok, then I look forward to see what you are planning.

I think this has the potential to be really good. I like the source for the books. I've never seen it that way before. Can't wait to read more!
