An Impressive chapter. Only bit about it is the title of the book Death Gave. Which you name towards the end the chapter, you have it The Truth of Henry James Evens Potter. So is it Henry or Harry? or just a typo?
Beyond that it was a great chapter and look forward to the next one ^^

I only named the book/tome once.Harry is a common nickname of Henry. I also have part of the next chapter up though un-beta'd since it is still in progress. Just couldn't resist.

Great chapters. Interesting people gathered for the reading and I especially like Petunia's turnabout attitude. How will she react to what her fiuture self says and does? How will reading about the future change Dudley's attitude and will you have someone help Harry heal from his bruises and such. It must be uncomfortable in that long sleeve shirt he's wearing.

Thank you. The place is (wizard) air conditioned, so no problem with sleeves etc. Petunia also has long sleeves on. if you want spoilers check out the roughly shod plans thread. I will give out a few spoilers. I will say that it took me a long while to figure out who was going to be there. then two characters became problematic and refused to go listen. Even if just a small part, every character has a valuable role to play.

Interesting way to get the books, and I like the group of readers so far.
Why am I not surprised that Dumbledore decided to interfere with Petunia's life that much and force her to stay with an abusive husband? Luckily Amelia is there! Together with the Unspeakables and Augusta, she can help her. And of course, this would mean that she can go and catch Scabbers and then get Sirius free ...
Ok, I know I am a bit far ahead, just playing with the possibilities. Sounds promising! And the way you are doing the reading sounds like a good idea. Less work for you to add all these comments, you can concentrate on the important stuff. I hope to see more soon.

my dog who I have had for 9 plus years has been having health problems lately and I had to put her to sleep today. So it might be a little while before another chapter get finished, I just don't know. it will continue though I just don't know if it will happen in the next week or two or not. thank you

lol could work as well. And the basis of the name is Rogue from the X-Men series. And Nya is just my online name I came up with ages ago, had a laugh when learned it meant Meow in Japanese lol.

I love it so far. Although, it probably won't happen it would be interesting if Petunia and Sirius started a relationship to raise Harry together once he's free.

Just did read it. Your few additions are interesting and make sense - even in canon there should have been something about the MOB casting spells to make sure Harry was safe until found. In the context of your story, it's even more logical - and shows the old codger in a horrible light. Can't wait to find out what spells they might find exactly!

Thank you I was particularly pleased with myself when that chapter came together. The ending is what gave me the most trouble. The characters just were not cooperating. my personal opinion was that when Minnie agreed that the scene seemed really odd, even when I first read the book at 21yr old. yes minnie is a doormat for dumbles but that argue then pause and just meekly say all right. So that is what I came up with to apease myself.

What do you think of how I added the JKR text? Most people bold theirs while I did not plus I made the text smaller and Italicized. Does this help in reading? Did changing the color on the changed parts of her text make it better or worse? My inquiring mind wants to know. This question is on my LJ also. Please tell me your opinion on this.  |
