Since there is a thread on books on here why not one about movies? Like-The Harry Potter movies, All 6 Star Wars movies, Smokey and the Bandit 1 and 2, Dune from 1984, The Addams Family movie from 1991, Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase, Scooby Doo on Zombie Island, The Lord of the Rings movies, Spiderman, several Disney movies, among others.
Hate-anything with just pure romance really

OMG! Zombie Island! Is that the one with the cat people? With that one song that I LOVE! It's TERROR time again! Best Scooby Doo film EVER. Love most Superhero movies except Superman and and the Hulk. I also dislike Romances and most Romcoms, though it depends on what the story is about for those. Love the LOTR and POTC films. Anything with Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio or Gerard Butler in and I tend to like it. Most old Pixar films and Disney films, Toy Story, A Bugs Life and Lion King in particular.

Yes, Zombie Island is the one with the cat people. There are way too many Scooby Doo films now that I've lost track of them all. The Toy Story movies are the best. Cars and the Incredibles are other good Pixar films as well. Johnny Depp is good but I don't really care for him in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I prefer the original one. Race to Witch Mountain with Dwayne Johnson was brilliant as well. The Lion King was good. I also like the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Also I love picture on the bottom left. Where is that from?

The BBC series of Merlin, but that's a behind the scenes clip, not in the actual programme.
I agree with you on the Chocolate Factory films. I have yet to see his latest film, Dark Shadows but want to quite badly. Haven't seen Race to Witch Mountain. Never really watched Hunchback as a kid. Cars and Incredibles were good films.

I really want to see that last one! May be seeing it on Wednesday.
I am Legend is brilliant. As is Men In Black. Actually, any film with Will Smith is fantastic! I love most Jim Carrey films too.

Okay. I like it a lot. It's so funny. I'm a bit old school really. The new remakes of recent years aren't that good for the majority of the films. The only reason I like Charlie and Chocolate Factory is because of Christopher Lee at the end. Dark Shadows rings a bell but nothing is clicking. What's it about? Watch Race to Witch Mountain. It is good. Hunchback was a good movie but pretty dark for a disney movie.

Dark Shadows is about JD as a vampire who's been awoken after several hundred years and a new family is in his house and...yeah I don't know much else.

Movies I love: Lord of the Rings Harry Potter (despite their many flaws) Star Wars ANH, ESB and RotJ Transformers 1 and 3 Jaws 1-3 90% of Disney movies (Mulan, Fern Gully, Cinderella etc.) Clue IT Behind Enemy Lines Cellular Most action hero movies especially the first X-Man movie Missing in Action (Chuck Norris) Most musicals, my fav being Phantom of the Opera
Hate
Just about any movie that could be considered a 'chick flick' (for those who don't know what those are they are romance and romantic comedy) Two exceptions are Kate and Leopold and Titanic, I loved those movies. Dumb movies like Ace Ventura and Jackass Movies with sad endings, there are a few exceptions for this catagory to but I'm not going to list them (because I can't remember which ones *grumbles*)

Well this is a hard thing to list as there is to many to list for each category so I will list my fav and most hated. Favorite: Twister Hated: Signs Signs: Mal Gibson's thoughts aa he was in Mal world: Wait...you mean I just needed to turn my sprinklers on to ward away the aliens? Hell, why did I have to spend sleepless nights worrying about the bastards if I just needed to spray 'em with a water hose? Damnit, I'm going back to bed to dream about my days as a good actor when I worked alongside Danny Glover for Lethal Weapon. If those Michael Jackson wannabes show up again just spit on 'em.

Hahahahaha
I have seen the movie Once and that was more then enough... In fact it was one time to many.. I had to sleep with either a glass of water or a bottle of water near my bed for ages afterwards... Well actually I still do that lol partly for this but mostly now, if I get thirsty in the night.
Now don't go thinking I cannot handle scary movies I can, in fact I rather enjoy the Pinhead movies or aka Hellraiser films which are pretty gory and nightmare inducing, not to mention The Langoliers mini series. But Signs just totally freaked me out and have not been able to watch it again, it was on the other night and almost found myself watching it but caught it in time to change the channel.
It is just one those movies that freak me out and should never have been made.

Like: Zombieland, Scary Movie 1 & 2, Dog Soldiers (Very small british film) any of the Ice Cream and Blood trilogy, I Robot, Independence Day, The Comebacks, The Replacements, Waiting.
Hate: Eragon (Book is amazing, movie made me sick to my stomach) any of the later Saw series (1 & 2 weren't bad)

Dog Soldiers is probably one of the most under-rated werewolf movies to be around these days. I defintely like it better then the Howling franchise but A Werewolf in London is still the best pure werewolf film.

I really do love Dog Soldiers, and I wish it got more popularity. I only saw it because it was on Syfy, and it surprised me with how well it was made.

Best part was when the sargent had his stomach ripped open and he was fighting with the dog to keep his intestines in him. If you watch the commentary they used sasuge links for the intestines and by the end of the day the dog ate all of them.
