My family used to have a dog, but he died about seven years ago, of old age, and we haven't decided whether to get another one.

I have a dog named Havoc. I named him, and somehow I couldn't have picked a worse name, because he is the most fluffy, docile, tubby dog you will ever meet. I swear to god he has the mind of a cat, because all he does is eat, sleep, and get petted.

I have a 9 year old female Siamese cat masquerading as a tortoiseshell.
I'm not kidding. She's got the long, slinky body, the long, slinky legs and tail, the triangular face, the voice and the 'tude of a Siamese ... but she's actually a tortoiseshell, color-wise.
Her name is Winkin, and we found her abandoned in a laundry basket about a week before Halloween one year, and she was less than two weeks old at the time. Eyes only just barely open and VERY milky blue, ears still folded over, the whole bit. Fit in the palm of one hand.
And was a complete, unmitigated terror from the word go. My mom and I joked that if she fed from her mom the way she did from the bottles of formula we gave her, it was no wonder mom left her for last (we saw a strange tortie cat in the area after we found Winkin, and figured it was mom). She would literally chew the nipples off the bottle. *wince*. I *still* have scars up and down my arm and chest from her ... rather vigorous ... kneading as she fed, too.
Despite being raised by a human from that early an age, she is very much a CAT, though before we had her fixed, she caused mass amounts of hysterical laughter by thinking human males were viable mates (seriously, she went into heat and would proceed to display herself to my mom's husband, stick her butt in his face etc. It was hysterically funny to watch).
She is, however, very much my girl. I was the one that did virtually all the feeding of her when she was a baby, and she still sees me as Mother ... I can get away with *anything* with that cat, including things she does not permit anyone else to even attempt ... though she draws the line at baths. Get water involved, and she turns into a truly frightening combination of Freddy Krueger and Linda Blair (She can literally turn around in her skin if you try to hold her by the scruff of her neck, and claw the crap out of your arm anyway. I found this one out the hard way).
We also have a female seven year old salt-and-pepper Miniature Schnauzer named Heidi. Who is very funny in her own right.
Firstly, she is a world-class klutz. She has been known to trip going *up* stairs, and to miss jumps up onto the couch, resulting in faceplants and/or slamming into the relevant piece of furniture face or chest first, depending on how badly she misses the jump.
She also has the highest prey drive of any dog I've ever seen. EVER. Keep in mind that I have owned three other Min. Schnauzers in the past, two of whom were a breeding pair that also produced two litters of puppies while we had them, along with being exposed to a number of other dogs of myriad breeds. If it is small (anything under the size of your average six-month-old kitten), she presumes it is prey and WILL NOT STOP trying to get to it. At one point, the place we lived at played host to a wild rabbit, who was idiot enough to make a den in our backyard. Heidi repeatedly dug up the babies and grabbed them, prepatory to killing them. She actually managed to kill one before we realized what she was doing and managed to stop her. She's also gone after small kittens we've rescued from time to time ... again, repeatedly, and despite said kitten trying to claw her nose off in retaliation for the harassment.

At least your pets have character, Sherza! That cat is really leaving a trace in your life At first I thought you should rename Heidi 'Tonks' or 'Nymphie', but then I reconsidered. The few Schnauzer I knew were usually rather docile and friendly in comparison, one I even had to drag out of the place. I guess you have to keep a very close eye on that one.

Lol, I love my dog, but if he were a human, I would swear he's a pothead. I still think he's a pothead, just in dog form.
My favorite moment is when I let him out to pee one day, we have a sliding glass door, and then a screen door that's in panels. Apparently he had to go, because he took off, slammed through the bottom panel of the screen door, and did his business. We decided to leave the bottom panel out, since it kind of worked as a doggie door.
Then the dunce managed to pop two more panels out, despite one already being out. He knocked out a panel that is much taller then him, and I still have no clue how.
When there is food involved, he turns into a pro athlete. Despite weighing quite a bit, and barely being able to jump onto my two foot tall bed, he managed to jump up and snatch the pizza out of my cousins hand, when he was holding it at face height. He's 5'11.

LOL - then you know how to motivate him to do stuff he doesn't like!
My pony isn't that bad, but she's doing pretty much anything for her treats. I've been trying to get her to stand still when I mount her for 10 years without success, until I accidentally discovered how. I took only three attempts, two treats - and she got it. Same with a circus trick. Three weekends and a handfull of goodies was all I needed to teach her to do a deep bow.

The few Schnauzer I knew were usually rather docile and friendly in comparison, one I even had to drag out of the place. I guess you have to keep a very close eye on that one. Actually, Heidi is very friendly and docile most of the time, with people and dogs and even adult cats ... it's just anything under a certain size that triggers her prey response and gets chased/bit/killed. Her bestest bud is my aunt's chihuahua/pappilion mix, who is about half her size, and Winkin can and does sleep plastered against her fairly frequently (Winkin is long, but fairly small, at six pounds. Then again, she is also NOT afraid to clean Heidi's clock if Heidi gets too presuming)

I have, or rather I'm owned by two cats.
Max is the oldest and very affectionate. He likes to rub up against me and my family and try to hold conversations with us.
Matilda is the shy one, but she has a loud purr and her fur is very soft.

No, I wouldn't be afraid of that. They'd have different tanks/cages. Besides, all of my snakes are too small to eat a bunny. Salazar and Severus eat rats, while Nagini eats mice. Salazar could grow big enough to eat a bunny, I'm not sure how big ball pythons get. But I wouldn't let that happen.
