You mean the mandrakes? I think they're kind of neat, myself. I mean, they grow from babies to adults! How awesome is that? A plant that goes through puberty!

No pets :/ We had a couple of fish when I was a kid, but they died pretty quickly. They were really small fish. Nothing to be proud of.
I've been begging my parents forever about a dog. My maternal aunts and uncle have pets ... Except us :/

What breed of dog would you want if you got one? We had two cats, then one of them died But we still have one, she's black and white, and adorable.

I... don't know. The uncle has a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel ... it's a show dog. Okay it isn't, but it has the papers with who the dogs great-grand parents are.. Or something like that. The other one has a ... mixed dog. No idea what races. Both are extremely cute.
Now I don't know much about dogs. But I don't want a golden retriever. My friend has one, and while I remember how cute he was as puppy, he just got huge. Every time I visit the dogs sniffs my vagina. If he jumped at me, he would probably be as tall as I am. So ... a cute one, who doesn't leave much hair, and doesn't need thousands hours of care, and not much time walking out.. A small or medium sized dog. Border collies are too... normal? I don't know. I see them almost every day. A friend even owns one. The second one with exact the same name.
Ohh... Yeah, my aunt has a cat too. Black and white too. That cat isn't adorable though. He's always in hiding whenever guests are there, and isn't very friendly.

Still got the three cats - Smokey, Willow and Charlie.
Keep getting next door's cat in. It's not helpful when two of my own cats are black, but the neighbour's cat - Carlton - is black as well, and to see them from a certain angle, you think its the correct cat, turns out to be the wrong cat.

All our neighbours cats keep randomly wandering through our backyard. It's really annoying, especially as our cat is skittish and won't chase them off. They keep pooing in our garage :/

Oh... Cats sometime walk over our backyard too. Especially the neighbor's next to us. I see her almost everyday. She even once was sitting right outside our door over a weekend. I think the family was out of town. Felt almost bad that I didn't allow her in. But I'm allergic to cats, and I can't keep company with one in longer time.

Chamy, that Golden Retriever seems to be a bit bad-mannered. Is it an un-neutered male? I've seen that a few times with these, but it's not standard, and most Goldies I knew were basically huge puppies and very good-natured.
Border Collies are working dogs and need a lot of time, IMO - they can get a bit tiring when they are bored. Though I knew a few nice ones as well.
Personally, I don't have the time for a dog - too long away at work. Got my dog fix when I was walking them at my friend's pension. But I have a pony (does that count as pet?), which is more than enough work already. Ever seen an Iceland pony who has been rolling in the mud in full winter coat? *grumbles something about little pigs*

Yeah ... He's cute though. One of my fellow friends with that dog's owner claims she's allergic to that dog, although she isn't. I just think she doesn't like the dog. Yeah ... We've got a lot of sheep around here, and Border Collies were used as shepherd dogs, I think. I think they still use them, but not as much. Hahah... I don't know if I've got a lot of time for them. My mother claims that if we get a dog, all work will end with my parents. Plus my father hates animals. I'm 100 % sure he has got it from his family. My grandmother hates them. Horses.. Hahah. I love Iceland ponies though I went to riding for six months, but then it got to expensive, and yeah. The horses were Iceland ones. When I was on a vacation, I went on a riding trip, but the horse was way to big for my liking.

Oh yes, it would be a lot of time to take care for a dog. You have to walk them all the time and all that. And someone hating them in the house isn't good. Iceland ponies are the best! I once did ride the big ones, but honestly, I prefer it when I can get up onto the saddle without a ladder Besides, there's Tölt! And I have had Skerpa for 23 years now, so she's like my kid.

Yeah ...
Exactly. Besiedes, I don't feel like I'm gonna fall of Iceland ponies, which I did with that big horse.
Ooh, that's cute. I wish I had one, but it's way to expensive. And I'm not in mood to visit the stall almost every day.

That, too. You fall much less deep *if* you fall Plus, the Iceland ponies I know were usually rather the sensible sort. As they aren't kept in a small cage, but running free in the herd, they are less likely to get all freaked out about every little thing, because they can see and hear everything around them and are used to noises and sudden movement. This helps with the feeling of safety. The big ones I knew often freaked out about any noises, something moving, anything. My girl was sleeping in the middle of a huge fair surrounded by thousands of people! She could be a little bitch under the saddle, when she didn't want to do what she was supposed to, but she's worth her weight in gold in any crisis because she keeps her head when most other horses would completely lose it. And she is extremely good-natured. Costs are bearable for me, as we have them at a farm and do half the work ourselves - morning the farmer's wife feeds them, as we all have to work, the evenings we share work, so we don't pay too much. It takes up a lot of time, though. What you could do is learning to ride properly and then try to find a riding share (not sure how to call that in English) - many horse owners don't have enough time for their horses and look for someone who could come a few times per week to exercise their horse. Of course, you'd need someone who you get along with and who thinks the same way, it's not working well when people have completely different ideas about how to deal with the animal, but with some luck you can find it. Depending on agreements, people may help out with stable work or pay a little bit for being allowed to ride the horse. At least that's how it works here. That way one can have their own horse in a way, but doesn't have all the cost and work. Right now, you probably don't have the time and means, but maybe later on?
