....Don't mention the Last Airbender to me! It was just as bad as the live action Dragon Ball movie.
OotP was a boring movie, but the book was great, imo. HBP focused way too much on the romance. DH part 2, it was good, but there were a lot of little things that irritated me while watching the it.

I watched the first half hour of the Last Airbender and gave up...

I did the same thing. I don't even know why I tried to watch it.

Oh god, the Avatar movie sucked so badly whhen I saw it. Really, it was like they butchered the first two seasons and made it into such a huge mess that I had to watch it twice before I fully understood the film. Why they chose Shaymalan to direct a kids film is beyond me. It is a fact that M. Night Shaymalan just ruins any movie if he even touches the script. He should really stick to sci-fi films and be done with it.

.....M. Night Shaymalan should find a different career.

And why did they cast Jackson Rathbone as Sokka? And Dev Patel as Zuko? Sure he's a good actor but not for Zuko.
Is it true that Zuko stayed evil in the film? I don't even know which arc it covered.

I never finished the film...So I wouldn't know. But I think it only followed the first season..So yes? I'm not sure if the Blue Spirit was in the film or not.

I had never seen the Airbender anime so had no expectations going into the movie. I really liked it and was disappointed that they aren't going to make the sequals. If I'm remembering the characters right then Zuko was left at a turning point where he was starting to realize he was on the wrong side. I'm pretty sure I'm remembering it right.
I loved how Harry acted with the Felix Felicis to and there were several other scenes in all the movies that I really liked that weren't in the books just absolutely not the burrow attacked scene in HPB.

Well, it seems like only people who hadn't seen the cartoon could understand the movie, even though it was supposed to have been following a familiar storyline.

Prisoner of Azkaban and Half-Blood Prince were the biggest Potter letdowns for me.The Knight Bus scene was way too long. I liked it the first time I saw it but now it's like really? I wish that they explained the Marauders as well. Snape was good in this. Remus did nothing for me. The ruining of Ron's character began in this movie and the following ones as well for me. In HBP the first scene with Harry in the cafe was pointless and stupid. The Burrow burning was dumb as well. The romance scenes with Harry and Ginny were terrible. Did nothing for me. Not enough Tom Riddle memories. The trailers hyped the movie too much for me. The wait also stunk.

Your right about the cafe scene in HPB, I would have much rather seen the Dursley chapter brought to the screen, and speaking of the dursley's I wish they had followed the dursley scenes more faithfully in the OoTP and DH part 1 not to mention them being completely cut out of GoF just like they were of HBP. And even though I do like how they handled the final cupboard scene I wish they had put a flashback from PS where Harry was playing with the soldiers after showing adult Harry looking at them.

The Lemony Snicket was the worst book to movie Ive ever seen. They took the first four books and badly meshed them together than put things that didn't even belong in the series.

I've never read the books but I can agree on it being a horrible movie. Jim Carrey has been hit or miss since his Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind role, which was suprisingly a really good movie.

I loved that movie, and I did read the books before seeing it. Then again, it's been...years since I've seen it, and I was kind of young.

I loved that movie too, I actually enjoyed it more than the books.
I loved the film version of the book One Day, but Anne Hathaway's English accent is the most awful thing I've ever heard. And I know people from Liverpool.

I hated the Lemony Snicket film even though I'm a HUGE Jim Carrey fan. But then I didn't relaly like the books all that much anyway. I got halfway through the fourth book and gave up.
I really dislike the additions in HBP as well. Completely unnecessary. I didn't like the casting for Remus, tbh. He really wasn't what I was expecting.

Same here. Everytime I think of Remus nowadays I picture David Thewlis as the character. I thought he did an excellent portrayal of Remus in the movies. I can't say I enjoyed Alan Rickman as Snape though. He looked nothing like how Snape was described in the books; it also doesn't help that he was in his mid-fifties when he started the role.

When I think of Remus I see Brian Holden from A Very Potter Sequel. I love Alan Rickman as Snape

I think Joe Moses can give Rickman a run for his money though. Joe Moses played Snape in A Very Potter Musical and Sequel

Brian Holden was amazing as Remus...But in a parody sense.

blackroses77-You have to watch it. It is hilarious. Brian Holden was good in a parody sense but I still seem him as Remus over Thewlis. Holden was 10 times more memorable

Holden also made a good Junior in Starship and Flopsy in Me and My Dick. He was an amazing Superman I saw the end of MAMD for the 1st time earlier in the week and I like it in a what on Earth was I watching for the past 2 hours and what were they on when they created this? It was so funny though
