youtube it. It is a musical/ comedy just so you know. Don't forget the sequel. They mash up the years for both of them. Character portrayals are different from the books and movies. Possible relationships in AVPM/S are different as well

I loved David Thewlis, but I find it really weird that he first auditioned for Quirrel before being called back as Remus. He seems so perfect as Remus, exactly how I imagined him.
I love Alan Rickman too, he gives such dimension to the character that I missed in the books. If you read the last book and then watch the films over, looking at him, you begin to understand things in his facial expressions and the way he acts that hints towards it, and I don't think another actor would have been able to do that.

I haven't seen AVPM/S. I've tried to so many times but the sound quality bugs me so much. I can barely hear what they're saying over the sound of the audience and I find the part I've watched really stupid.

Yeah, that always bugs me. I think I've watched the same few parts over and over trying to get into it, but the sound quality always gets me in the end.

Glad someone else had the same problem. I can't stand watching something I can barely understand. Like if a DVD/CD starts skipping slightly I immediately switch it off. It grates on my nerves.

I didn't know that about David Thewlis! Thank goodness he wasn't picked for Quirrel, we would have only got to see him in the first movie. Plus he just is Remus, I will never be able to picture anyone else as Remus. And I agree with you about Alan Rickman and his facial expressions and just the way he portrayed Severus in general, he is another character that I can't picture anyone else playing.

I...can actually see Thewlis as Quirrell. I really didn't like him as Remus. He's not how I imagined him. One of my friends really doesn't like him either, or Gary Oldman as Sirius (though I disagree with that one).

Allan Rickman was the only actor who knew his character's fate before the seventh book. I read it online somewhere. That may be why Rickman acted the way he did when portraying Snape.

Yeah I think he gave an interview about that. And he would never have walked away from the films. He'd never let anyone else be Snape.
Did you hear about the twin who plays Fred. He was crying when he read Deathly Hallows and Fred died. He said he was on a plane and someone asked if he was okay and he said "NO! I just died!". He also fell asleep when he was "playing dead". XD

And in the interview with Daniel Radcliffe and Jo Rowling they talk about it! Apparantly the director kept telling Alan Rickman to do stuff, and when he refused to do it, he'd just say "I have my information..." I love how he turned all super-spy about it I read as well how just after the 5th book came out, Gary Oldman turned up at Thewlis' house all excited and talking about how this book was the best yet because they'd get loads of screentime, but he didn't know yet that Sirius died. Thewlis knew but he didn't say anything because he didn't want to burst his bubble A few days later he came back shouting about how unfair it was.

I didn't know about the one with Oldman and Thewlis. Poor guys. I really wish the fifth movie showed more Sirius though.
