My fave pairings, hmmmm. Remus/Tonks Harry/Lucius Hermione/Draco Minerva/Severus Harry/Hermione Harry/Severus Neville/Luna Harry/Bellatrix, especially Earl of the North, Harry/Salazar Slytherin (time travel) Harry/Charlie You may haven oticed I'm a bit of a slash fan, but I can read het, and I'm OK with Harry/Ginny, but it isn't a pairing I read often. YAY! Slash fan! There needs to be mre Slash RtB's in my opinion. There definitely needs to be more Slash RtB's Silvertongue! That was the big draw for me to start read A Being Of Violet Fire's RtB, of course after I started reading it I loved it and would of continued reading it even if it hadn't been slash. But hey, slash  big, big plus. Hopefully there will be more soon. |

I've never been much into slash myself. I prefer my parings to be heterosexual. I have nothing against people who support it, but I don't see the characters being gay. But I will admit, I do see where people get Sirius/Remus from. That's the only one I'm comfortable with.

This is the story that got me interested in Fenrir/Harry What Are You Worth? by Kati-chan It's on aff.net it's completely AU and it's unfinished at ch 16 and seems like it is going to remain that way ufortunately. But I still like it enough that I've reread it and keep checking back on the off chance it's updated. |

I don't like slash myself, but I also can see where Sirius/Remus comes in and also Harry paired with others. I hate to say it, but Dan did act gay a few times in the movies, at least to me. |

Same here. I do like those threesome pairings, too.
I don't understand why people get angry when writers make some characters gay. If that's not your thing, then fine, but some people like that kind of thing and don't like to stick to canon. It's FANfiction for a reason. This is just something we'd like to read. We don't really care if it's AU. That's the point of fanfiction, seeing how else the story could go. Taking just tha characters and putting them in a totally different environment, like a Naruto High School fic (though I personally don't enjoy those). They don't have to be out of character to be gay. Harry can be just as clueless with a guy as he is with Cho.

Daphne's OK, but I would prefer Susan, Luna or Hermione. I would be able to read a Harry/Ginny, but I do think that she wasn't fleshed out enough, and too much like a fangirl.

Daphne and Tracey with Harry highlight the differences between Gryffindor and Slytherin. It creates drama. The only problem is that Ron is more often than not shown as a biased git in those stories. Even ones with a marriage contract that their parents or grandparents made.
I wish there were more Harry with Katie, Alicia and or Angelina stories. We hardly see them in cannon so that would be nice to see Harry interacting with them more.

I also like the Harry/Luna pairing but not with their romance as the main focus. I was reading a story were the focus of the story was Sev becoming Harry's gaurdian and then as the story progressed it introduced Luna. I think they went to the yule ball together, and Sev's reaction to the idea of Harry going out with Luna was very funny unfortunately I think it is still a wip that hasn't been updated in a while so I didn't get to see his reaction when Sev realized they were serious about each other.

Ron/Hermione is my favorite  Harry/Cho or Harry/Ginny is also good; but I'm not a shipper, I just like canon Harry relationships than the slashes an the ones that makes no sense whatsoever. REMUS/TONKS!!!!!! I love this pairing. Yeah, I'm mostly canon... But I like Neville/Luna, and Fred/Angelina too... and ever since watching A Very Potter Musical, I'm also okay with Voldemort/Quirrel |

I am also a big fan of canon so my favorite pairings would be Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione.
Although the second one isn't really necessary for me but many stories that don't have this pairing bash Ron and/or put Hermione together with a guy who could be her father, she has no interaction with or who normally hates her.
And with the rest I am pretty open although I simply can't stand slash even if it is canon like Dumbledore. I don't know why but I simply don't like reading about it. And what is even worse is that as I try to read only stories with Harry as the main character it is mostly him that suddenly likes Draco.
I also like Dumbledore/McGongall if it makes McGongall older than she is.

My altime favorite paring is Ron and Hermione. I just think they're the most developed in the series. Some couples seem either random or underdeveloped. Ex: Harry/Ginny, Bill/Fleur (though I do think they're cute), or even Luna/....I forgot his name.
