JKR really jipped us on Harry's grandparents. klike we never here swquat about the evans' family. we don't even know when/if they died. we assume they did, but are never told. maybe Albus made them move to Austria or sweden and forget their family.

*Moves lawnchair, popcorn, and soda over to this thread and starts to prepare for the entertainment.* *Places my own lawnchair right beside viralic1, but instead of popcorn and soda, brings Twizzlers, Skittles and a cooler chest full of beer.* Wooh, go Kuma! Kick that supposed Goddess's ass!

((I had a lot of fun with it either way...*giggles* Yay insanity!))

*pulls up her own chair and supplies Doritos, Cheetos, and Lays chips of various flavors*
Personally, I think Dudley *deserves* to have a magical kid. Mostly because I want to watch Petunia and Vernon shat themselves when they realise.
But on the other hand ... I can't find it in myself to put anyone in a relationship with that fat, stupid, bullying slob in order to HAVE a kid, and I can't visualize any social/childcare worker worth their salt approving him as a foster/adoptive parent.

*steals one of Rachel's beers*
I don't know... I think Dudley grew out of it and deserves the chance to experience the joys of magic... that, and I want to see Vernon and Petunia shit themselves!

I can't visualize any social/childcare worker worth their salt approving him as a foster/adoptive parent. You would honestly be surprised. I'm adopted, and my mother has a history of child abuse, is bipolar, is an alcoholic, and has anger issues. My dad just has anger issues. A couple of guys I know are adopted, and some of their parents are pretty bad.

*glares menacingly at Kuma, then expression slowly softens*
Next time ask before swiping my beer. I brought them all the way from Canada. Do you have any idea how hard it was to get past customs with it!
But on a more serious note, I believe that Dudley did indeed grow out of his bullying, and grew less ignorant to his surroundings. If he were to have a child, magical or not, I can see him encouraging him/her to learn, not just sit on the couch watching mindless tv. And if the child was magical, I can see Dudley trying to learn stuff about their world, so he can connect with them later on in life, after they start at Hogwarts. Also, I think we all agree that Petunia and Vernon would go into convulsions if their grandchild was a witch/wizard.

Dresses are pure evil! Except when you drop down a size because you've been working out all summer long.

I like getting dressed up in pretty things, including dresses. But finding one that I like is pure hell. I suggest trying out stores like Zara or H&M or Forever 21 if you want something semi-formal in a good price range. But for a Christening...
Ugh, I need to drop a dress size, but all I do is sit on the couch and eat...

Yeah, I wouldn't know much about dresses. I despise them, and try to avoid all occasions where I'd have to wear one.
Skipped prom both years (of course that was mainly due to the fact that I'd be the only one there without a date)
