Draco's original wand wasn't the type of wand to determine it's loyalties by how well its master could fight. Only a few wands do that, and the Elderwand is one of them. Draco was the master of the Elderwand. Draco got disarmed. Therefore, the Elderwand changed allegiances. It's not exactly a very loyal thing, and certainly you can't argue logic with this stick. Now, the more pressing questions, is, how exactly did Voldemort expect that the Elderwand would change allegiances through death by snake? That didn't show his magical skill at all. It makes much less sense for Nagini killing Snape to change the allegiance of the Elderwand to Voldemort than it does from Draco to Harry just because Draco got disarmed while he wasn't actually using the Elderwand. At least Harry was doing the actual disarming. If anything, Nagini killing Snape means that the Elderwand now belongs to Nagini (and therefore it now belongs to Neville). okay, I can tell that you're serious... but the image of a snake holding a wand... lol... then the snake morphed into Neville

The Ministry would have a field day with the snake because non-humans aren't allowed a wand

Or Neville is the actual owner and maybe he tried to help Harry out during the final duel, and he killed Voldemort and the entire Expelliarmus thing was orchestrated by the actual owner. Maybe Neville really was the Chosen One.

Now *that* would be such a huge blow for Moldyshorts and Dumbledore! *evil grin*

I know right? I think if that had been the real ending, that it was actually Neville the entire time, I'd burst into deranged laughter. And why stop at Neville defeating Voldie, maybe, he stumbled across the Diadem after a DA session, and set it up to be found by Harry in HBP. Or maybe, in GOF when Harry gets the gillyweed from Dobby, it was actually Neville who saw that Crouch was giving Harry too-ripe weed. Maybe it was Neville all this time.

Maybe Neville really was the Chosen One. Harry was Chosen by Voldemort and Neville would be Chosen by the Elderwand. Chosen two.lol

Relax, Sun. It's just a theory said in jest.

That idea would prove so wonderfully what you get when you try to make a prophecy become reality: You mess it up even more.

You know, Trelawney has the best fucking job. All she does is spout random nonsense, drink, and assign grades for creativity. Then once in a while, she puts on a different voice and bam, everyone thinks she's the real deal. In return, she gets free board, free food, protection from the madman, and extra money for her salary. I am so jealous right now you have no idea.

Duh? I think that if I ever met some sort of wish giver- my wish would be to go to Hogwarts... Making up stuff in Divination... dreaming away in History of Magic... eavesdropping and secretly talking about evil plots taking place at the school in Charms... being taught by death eaters and werewolves in DADA... it makes me so disappointed when I think about my school...

Be careful what you wish for - what if you end up there in what was supposed to be Harry's seventh year?

It if was me, I would join the DA and help Nev, Ginny & Luna wreak havoc on the school, causing the Carrows oodles of trouble.

If it were me, I'd run away as fast as possible. It might be cool to read about, but I certainly don't want to live it.
I'd also spend a lot of time lamenting the computers I accidentally zapped.
