Very true all of you. I'm just thinking is there any lines I don't like in HP since it IS HP after all... I got this amazing notebook from my friend where she had gathered all the best quotes from different characters and the ones that stuck with me were: "The world isn't split into good people and Death Eaters, Harry" by Sirius in OotP and "I don't go looking for trouble, trouble usually finds me" since that just sums the whole series up doesn't it But the films, fourth one all the with Gred and Forge are just piceless "Like a bumbling, babbling band of baboons" "Try saying that five times fast" or the last one "I've always wanted to use that spell"

Some of Ron's one-liners throughout the series are the best, as well. Unfortunately, being 5 states away from my copy of the books, I can't go pick them out but I'll try and give you the gist. **NOTE: these are NOT exact quotes, nor may even resemble the originals, but are as close as I can recall** "Oh, I forgot we would be searching for Horcruxes in a mobile library." -Deathly Hallows "Great! I was wondering what we were going to do with the pile of great, dirty basilisk fangs we have hanging around!" -Deathly Hallows "Of course Death has a cloak; that's how he comes flying at you, flapping his arms..." -Deathly Hallows that's all I can think of now, but I know there are more...

One of my favourite quotes from DH part 2 was:-
"he does have a particular proclivity for pyrotechnics," - McGonagall on Seamus Finnigan.

There are so many great lines that it's hard to choose, but I probably have to go with the infamous "NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU BITCH" line, specifically because of how unexpected it was

My favorite line from the movies is from Ron in COS. "Follow the spiders? Why can't it be follow the butterflies?" May not be an exact quote but it is close enough. Ron had so many great lines in that movie.

- “Only innocent lives, Peter!”
——Every time I thought Sirius joined the Order only because he was loyal to James, I would read this line again.
- DIED RATHER THAN BETRAY YOUR FRIENDS, AS WE WOULD HAVE DONE FOR YOU!
——I think Sirius really would have died for Peter.
- If you want to kill Harry, you’ll have to kill us too!
——Yeah, I love Ron.
- Next time there's a ball, ask me before someone else does, and not as a last resort!
——I always thought Rowling is poor at Romance writing, but this sentence is beautiful.
- Harry, still staring at the archway, was angry at Sirius now for keeping him waiting—
——Poor kid.
- People don't like being locked up!
——Especially being locked up in a bloody cupboard.
- I face death in the hope that when you meet your match you will be mortal once more.
——R.A.B. is every ounce as arrogant and haughty as a Black downright.
- “Blimey,” said James, “and I thought you seemed all right!”
——James Potter was an odd person. Sometimes I think he was weirder than anyone in the HP world.

I love the line:
"Are you a witch or not?" from Ron in the first book
and
"Dobby never meant to kill Harry Potter, only maim or injure him"
I also liked the lines: "Five points will be awarded to each of you. For sheer dumb luck."
"Now, I'm going to bed before either of you come up with a clever plan to get us all killed...or worse, expelled."
"I'll join you when hell freezes over! Dumbledore's army!" Neville sooo cool when he says this.
and I love this one most of all:
"You know, Minister, I disagree with Dumbledore on many counts... but you cannot deny he's got style..."

For those who have minds that live in the gutter, here's another one:- She eyed his cloak suddenly as though she thought he might be hiding Harry underneath it.

Though these aren't quotes, I had a thought and thought I should post these. Thinking of Sirius, here's a picture I found that I really liked: And thinking of Filch, here's another one, just to ruin the moment from the last. and here's one for Snape too:
