I've wondered how Harry ever got in Gringotts again, after the stunt he made, and destroyed several stuff. So how do you think he did it? Or if he ever managed it.
How do you think the goblins reacted after The Second War? I mean, several of them got hunted and killed? Gringotts got destroyed. I mean Goblins didn't want anything to do with the war, and then they get involved. I imagine they would furious on wizards. You should think that a goblin war would start.

I've thought about that to. I imagine that if Harry paid for all the repairs as well as paying the goblins restitution they would have forgiven him and welcomed back as a Gringott's customer since Voldemort was hunting and killing goblins they would have been grateful that Harry stopped him. Also I believe that the Potter's were very wealthy since they are an old pureblood family and it seemed from the cart ride in PS that they had to go pretty far into the bank which also gives evidence of their wealth, so the goblins wouldn't want to lose the Potter account and all that money.

Possible, yes. I wonder if it would have helped to explain to them that Harry had to do it because they kept that Horcrux in their vaults and to destroy it was necessary to destroy Voldemort, and they'd not have helped ... Though they'd probably not want to hear that in the first place.

I think they'd probably allow it, but they'd not forget. It would sort of fester you know, and they'd forever mistrust all wizards, including and most likely esoecially the heroes. They'd see it as a kind of double-standard, wizards can do what they like, but goblins cannot, you know? However, the control the wizarding economy, and wouldn't want to give up that power over the wizards.

Ah, that sounds like the goblins, Gnovella. Mistrusting, especially of the heroes 'who act like they can do whatever they can'. They would probably say that in much uglier way.

Probably. I can see them as hating any Potter on sight since they aren't quick to forgive. They'd even start to convince themselves it was all a conspiracy as they forget the horror of the war and the older ones die out. They probably begin to think of it as a lie the wizards made to steal their things. Or they let it go but make sure to continually play on the Potter conscience to fleece money.

What do you think - would it work to tell them (not necessarily when there's already a war going on, but maybe in fifth or sixth year) about the Horcrux and ask them for help?

Ah yes... They would start to hate the Potter's, who show up. Poor family. It gives a new meaning to the words, consequences. I agree that the actions were necessary , but yeah.
Perhaps the Weasley's too, although Bill perhaps can work to get his family's honor back with the goblins.

Nope. They'd see it as a conspiracy. They'd think the wizards are fleecing them, and it would take Dumnledore approaching a senior goblin and begging for help. And even then, they'd expect more retribution, fsncy items, gifts, etc. They'd hand it over, but not before getting as much as possible from rhe deal,

I think they'd keep Bill on, but far away from the bank, and he'd be watched. Constantly. They'd prefer him maybe, but they'd not see Bill as a represantative to the family, but an ant who comes from a family of spiders.

Yeah, but I think it was more of an internship deal than a job as such. Glad to give ideas Kitty Goblins are fun to write since they think every wizard as being evil.

You will be rather busy to catch up when you are back from that camp. Just hope the weather behaves. Anyway, it's 11pm here and about time for bed, as I'm an early riser and can't sleep long in the mornings. My inner clock just doesn't get the difference between workday and weekend See you when you are back in one week!

Alright, and the allies for Kampfa don't have to be constricted to goblins, if you want to make a Unicorn, go ahead, as long as it isn't a human looking creature, he'll deal well. And male/female not an issue either.
Have fun at camp though!

Perhaps I make two allies, my goblin and a second one, but I'd say the unicorn are way to innocent to be evil xD

Thestral would be fun. Or Acromantula... Yeah, that would be interesting ... and creepy. I'm suddenly feeling bad, by the thought of RP one Acromantula ... But they would make a great enemy.

When you have an idea, just go with it, that's how I made Yew, and Harrigan. I was going to make an acromantula, but Kampfa's bat-shit insane, and making a dark creature again seems a bit heavy for me. I may however create a darker human/werewolf or something within Hogwarts
