Hey guys, I was wondering if someone could give me an answer to my question? I tried using flagfic today and it seems that the site is unable unable to download anything. Heck, it seems to be down since it only takes you to the homepage. Anyway, I found this downloader and was wondering if anyone else has tried it? Here's the link below for you to see: www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Download-Managers/Fanfiction-Downloader.shtmlI have yet to download it since I don't know how well or easy it is to use and need your opinion before trying it or wasting my time blundering with a new program. If anyone has or is using this program could you give me your thoughts on it?

Strange, I used Flagfic only about 10 hours ago and it worked perfectly. Are you sure you did everything right? Did you put in the story ID and chose the format which you want them in? Or did you give your email address, then it was mailed to your mails, not downloaded directly on the pc?
Or, if it wasn't FFN you tried to download from, did you check if the archive is among the ones supported by Flagfic?
Otherwise, they might have had a short problem that should be solved quickly. Usually they were very fast in updating their site - the changes on FFN were included straight away.

I just used FlagFic and it worked fine - well, at least the "Download as HTML" option worked fine.

I tried downloading a PDF version and the site kept going to a error page. I sent an email to the owner of flagfic and he said that it was the ff.net servers that were acting up. I just had to wait a few minutes to download it in pdf but all the other formats worked fine like they always do.

Ah good. And why am I not surprised that the problem was with FFN as usual?

Id suggest downloading fanfictiondownloader, from fanfictiondownloader.net that seems to work quite well, its pdf, rtf, and epub, I just used them today so I know that site works well enough.
