OpenOffice or LibreOffice

I have been using OpenOffice for a while now and other then my current issue of trying to Update it, I have never had an issue with it, but since I am having trouble so much so had to remove the older version to see if a fresh instal would work.

So that said thought I would get an opinion from my fellow Authors as to which one is better of the two given I have never used Libre.

I love LibreOffice, it's what I use the most.

I haven't really used either, but from what I've seen and what I've read, they're mostly the same. LibreOffice forked off of OpenOffice and they are still nearly identical. But I think LibreOffice will be developed more going forward.


Actually, it looks like they will both continue to be developed (just the development of OO has changed from Oracle to Apache), so do whatever.
