I just have a question: What did Dumbledore intend to happen with the Elder Wand after his Death?
At first I thought that he intended to die undefeated and break the power of the Elder Wand. But I don't know how killing someone, even if the person doesn't try to defeat himself could be enough to break the power.
Because if it did the question would be why it didn't happen with Harry as he did die undefeated in the forest. But clearly he was the owner of the wand later in the great hall.
The only other possibility I see is that Dumbledore wanted Snape to end up with the wand but I think it is very risky to have a Death eater end up with the wand. Because Dumbledore had at least a little suspicion that Voldemort would hunt down the wand.
So is there anybody that can clear that for me?

Harry never took possession of the wand until he disarmed Voldemort. Also Harry sacrificed himself, the wand recognized this and therefore did not change its allegiance.
I think Dumbledore did not expect Draco to disarm him. I think he was expecting the same thing that happened to Harry. The wand would recognize the sacrifice and would not pass on to another. There are only two people besides Harry that know what he did with the wand. The three of them will go their graves with the knowledge. Also most do not believe the wand actually exists.

Also remember what Ollivander said, the wand will not always recognize a new owner.

Don't forget all the portraits in the headmaster's office, who can be quite the gossips. Don't forget that Harry announced the Elder Wand and all that stuff in front of a huge crowd of people in the Great Hall during his last duel with Voldemort.

I know the reason why the wand didn't recognize the change in his owner in the forbidden forest but I don't understand why the power wouldn't have broken when Harry died without being defeated.

Wasn't the plan that the power of the wand should have broken if Harry died undefeated? You said the opposite? Or am I just too confused with the whole wand stuff? Admittedly, it never made much sense to me.

Well I thought so too. The plan was that the power of the wand should have broken if Harry died undefeated. And he did do just that in the forest as he didn't fight and walked willingly to his death. But the power wasn't broken as we saw in the end.

The only explanation I can think of is the fact that Harry didn't actually die.
Honestly, the more I think about that stuff, the less I understand it. Too much doesn't make sense to me. And when you throw in that protection from Lily and everything else, it gets even worse.

My theory is that JK tried to recreate this scene, and what she wrote afterwards is what she put in the book.

It doesn't explain how he got high in that scene, but in the movie he was running across a football field when the sprinkler system activated, and he had like 100 hits of acid in his pocket. I think the full movie is on youtube, and I really do recommend it. It's a funnny/depressing/hilarious/sad movie, and I love it. Plus Matthew Lillard is in it, and he did pretty good.
